The size of the screen is so wide that the privacy portion of the filter affects the sides of what is on the screen. If I look at the center of the screen and then look at the icons on the left I see a ghosting effect and a dimmer edge. But if I slide to the left then it becomes clear and the right side of the screen becomes blocked because of the filter. I found this rather frustrating because I want the larger monitor but the filter effectively shrinks the viewing area.

I purchased this for a client who works in a very bright room, He said I we could come up with a solution to the glare on a Dell Inspiron 23 (2350) All-In-One computer then we would have to return it and buy a desktop and mat finish screen. I simply held the screen in place for him to realize that this would work. The 3M AG23.0W9 Anti-Glare filter did indeed kill the glare but it made the text almost unreadable. I also found that the screen was set all the way down. I pushed the brightness all the way up and viola, he was cured.
