It’s plasticky and flexes somewhat. Unless you have a very heavy desktop machine, my Dell XPS does not feel too stable on top of it due to the limited supporting platform area.

Using this for an Alienware Aurora R10 Ryzen Edition to get it off the desk. Computer fits well on the stand, and it’s easy to roll it around to get at the ports because of the wheels. Also keeps the computer from being in direct contact with the floor.
