The black, small EM550GPS Wireless Ergonomic Mouse from 3M is an ergonomic mouse clinically proven to alleviate pain and discomfort of repetitive stress injuries in the hand, wrist, or arm associated with the use of traditional mice. The stress is due to forearm pronation and may cause pressure on the wrist and carpal tunnel area. The mouse is for right-handed users. The ergonomic mouse has earned an Ease-of-Use Commendation from the Arthritis Foundation for its patented, vertical-grip design that keeps your hand and wrist at a neutral angle, while the mouse works as a regular optical mouse. Also included is a pair of AAA batteries for powering the mouse.

After 10+ years, I had to replace my old one. This mouse (okay, FDA, I know this isn’t a medical device) cured my tendonitis. I was able to stop physical therapy and no longer had to wear a brace at night to relieve the pain. I have moused pain-free ever since I started using this mouse at work. The replacement took a while to get because it was out of stock, but it was worth the wait.

Ive been using this mouse for years. I write a great deal in my work, so this has saved my wrist. My only complaint is that they only seem to last less than a year before I have to replace. That kind of planned obsolescence isnt cool.
