This is well made and really adds a flair to the side of our house.. We had a very large area of blank, white siding, a wall that really needed something added to break up the plain white.We installed it several weeks ago and it looks like it was made for our house. It is holding up well in the summer sun and rain. We are very pleased with the design and quality.

I pretty much knew what i was getting when i bought this, i saw at a store and googled it and home depot had! Delivery was a bit delayed but i wasnt in a rush to get it. When i opened two of the letters were bent out of shape, my husband tried to hammer them to look better. A little disappointing since it was over $100. But too much work to return and get another one…. And who knows it could happen again

I had seen a verdi gris compass rose like this but I needed a different color for my house. This looks great on my exterior wall above a landscaped area. As others have said, it does look weathered with uneven paint and a bit bent in places. Because mine is outside, I chose to spray paint it with the same red color then highlighted with a bronze paint and topped with a clear matte finish coat to withstand the humidity. Provides just the coastal style I wanted.

I purchased this to hang on the front of my beach house below the roof peek. My husband says it will just get rusty and fall apart unless we strip it and refinish it. The piece has paint flaking off in many places. I love the look and the size is perfect. I think we will put a clear coat on it.
