Wired peripherals can be connected using two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports or via two Type-C ports, and wireless peripherals can be connected via Bluetooth 5.0. Wi-Fi 5 facilitates wireless internet connectivity, with dual-band support ensuring a stronger connection.
Alongside an 11.6” 1366 x 768 IPS display, the Chromebook 311 can extend or mirror content to an additional, DisplayPort-compatible monitor via the two USB Type-C ports. These ports also support power delivery up to 60W, allowing you to charge your phone and other devices from the laptop. An HD webcam, microphone, and speakers allow users to video-conference or collaborate on the go, and the battery can last up to 10 hours on a single charge. I’ve used budget Chromebooks for about 10 years. My current one is an Acer CB3-111 (N2825 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage). Minimal specs, but it has done everything that I need it to do: email, web search, news, purchases, online banking, occasional documents, simple photo touchups, and videos now and then. I would keep my CB3-111 until it died a natural death (it still works as good as the day I bought it 6 years ago), but there is only one more year for operating system upgrades from Google. So I upgraded to the Acer CB311-9H. It is basically just like my old one, but with newer specs: N4000 processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB storage, newer WIFI, etc. The big difference is access to Android apps from the Google Play store. The new Chromebook works fine, feels pretty solid, and will have 6 more years of support. If it continues to work as well as my old one, I will be very happy with the purchase. Also pleased with the service of B&H Photo. Free shipping and arrived in 2 days.

If you do basic tasks like uploading pictures and saving basic documents and browsing the internet. This is the laptop for you. The Google operating system is far better than windows and more cost effective.The keyboard is sold and should take years of punishment.

Using this to replace another Acer Chromebook that is now six years old and still working well. Very well made. Not loaded with everything but has all I need for shopping, emails, etc. Got this on sale which make’s it an even greater value. A really good Computer Tech guy told me that the Acer Chromebooks are almost bullet proof and I have found this to be true. Great product and value
