Wired peripherals can be connected using two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports or via two Type-C ports, and wireless peripherals can be connected via Bluetooth 5.0. Wi-Fi 5 facilitates wireless internet connectivity, with dual-band support ensuring a stronger connection.
Alongside an 11.6” 1366 x 768 IPS multi-touch touchscreen, the Chromebook 311 can extend or mirror content to an additional, DisplayPort-compatible monitor via the two USB Type-C ports. I bought this for my daughter’s 5th birthday. It works great, and has a ton of parental controls built in (just Google the Google Family Link app and you’ll see). Battery Life seems great, plays the few games she wanted to play, and Youtube kids app works great.
