This monitor is a great value for a 16:10 screen. I have a similar Dell monitor and the colours on the Acer are brighter. The monitor frame is very narrow so that the when I put two Acer screens together they is very little dead space between the monitors. I paid close to $100 more for my Dell monitor which is not any better than the Acer. Anyone requiring the 1200 vertical resolution over the standard 1080 should consider this Acer monitor. I have purchased 2 in the last 2 months and have had no problems with them. If my Dell monitor was to fail I would replace it with this Acer monitor if they are still available.

I wrote the one-star review on this item. Unfortunately b&h wont let me go back and edit or delete the previous post. Update – Its not the monitor that broke after 2 months, it was the power cable they sent me. I replaced it with my own power cable and it works now. Acer really needs to better product test the accessories they send with the monitor.

Worked great for two months and then it flickered on and off by itself a week ago. Now it shut off by itself and I cant turn it on, unfortunate since it was a nice monitor. Assembly was a little counter intuitive.
