The Predator XB 1 XB241H 24" 16:9 LCD Monitor from Acer features a Twisted Nematic (TN) panel that delivers a 1920 x 1080 resolution with a 16:9 aspect ratio. It supports up to 16.7 million colors and has a 350 cd/m² brightness rating and 1,000:1 static contrast ratio for deeper blacks and brighter colors. The Predator XB241H also has a quick 1 ms response time for lag-free content reproduction. Combined with NVIDIA G-SYNC technology, which syncs frames rendered by your GPU to the refresh rate of your monitor, you’ll be able to enjoy smooth gameplay without screen tearing and stuttering.
Furthermore, this monitor has a refresh rate of 60 Hz using HDMI and 144 Hz using DisplayPort, which can be overclocked to 180 Hz. Overclocking may result in flicker or other adverse effects so you may have to set a lower refresh rate to reduce such effects. It also has two built-in speakers to provide an immersive multimedia experience. Connect this display to your system via DisplayPort or HDMI then tilt, swivel, and adjust its height to your viewing preference. Otherwise you can remove the stand and install an optional wall-mounting arm or an alternate stand using the 100 x 100mm VESA mounting holes on the back.

It was the worst purchase and worst experience of my life with ACER. The store did not inform the correct model of the product, and I bought the monitor assuming there was the G-SYNC technology as in the advertisement, but the monitor does not have the technology. When I checked on the manufacturers website, I was surprised to learn that Acer manufactured two Monitors with the same model code, one of which (with a B-terminated model) contained technology and the other one (which I bought) did not have the technology . I was hampered by this purchase by both B & H and I did not know how to publish the features of the product, nor with Acer that does not provide clear information.

This is a great monitor. If you play competitive FPS the 180hz overclocking ability really shines. Some may say that the difference between 144hz and 180hz is unrecognizable but I can tell it is smoother and more responsive and is beneficial in a competitive setting. I was pondering going 1440p since I own a GTX 1080, but since I mainly play online FPS, I really wanted the highest refresh rate possible. You can also do 1440p on this monitor via Nvidia Dynamic Super Resolution if you are playing single player games or do not the extra fps in online games. It took me a couple days to get the calibration right but once I did it really looks good even though it is a TN panel. Gsync works as advertised. Highly recommended.

Excellent quality screen. I play my games in ultra HD with no problems. Love the stand for the screen. Very maneuverable and sturdy. Comes with 2 cables HMDI and DP. Still trying to get information on witch one to use.

Ive just recently upgraded my graphics card to a 1070 G1 and this monitor is a great pair. Have to use the D-Port for the 144hz+ and g-sync but it was worth the buy. All my games look super clean and smooth. The stand is hefty, like at least 4-7 lbs, but it rotates so you never really have to re-position it. Its never going to tilt on you and it looks great. Also super easy to put together and apart. For being the cheapest G-Sync monitor it does the job very well. Would save up for it if you can. Con – needs setting up for the right color adjustments. Takes about 5-10 mins to setup.

This is a great monitor, I already have one I just purchased another to have a second monitor for my pc and using it for my other consoles, has a great multitude of settings though I just use default and adjust the brightness to my likeliness

I wanted to update my monitor with a G-Sync monitor since I play FPS games. After a few days of calibrating monitor to work well in Windows and then playing games I must say I’m impressed with the overall quality of this monitor. While it isn’t a ips panel it really looks sharp and colorful. I certainly would recommend this monitor for gaming. BH Photo is always my place to go for my purchases because of quick shipping, etc.
