The ED273 wmidx 27″ 16:9 Curved FreeSync LCD Monitor from Acer is designed to offer an enhanced viewing experience adapted to the curvature of the human eye. In addition to the curve of the monitor, users benefit from a Full HD 1920 x 1080 viewing experience, a 100,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, a 4 ms response time, and support for up to 16.7 million colors.
Included with this monitor are Acers own VisionCare features offering Flicker-less and Blue-light Filtering technologies. These technologies are designed to reduce the strain placed on your eyes during periods of extended viewing. To further enhance your viewing experience the display can be tilted from -5 to 15° and it can be viewed from nearly any angle with support for 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles.
Setup and configuration of the ED273 display is simple as it comes equipped with HDMI, DVI, and VGA ports to plug this monitor into a variety of devices including smartphones and tablets.

I have been using this since just after 09/10/2020 and so far works great. Only issue with having locked the OSD via the rear button but haven’t really looked into the issue yet which configures the monitor settings. Otherwise no problems.

The big deal is how easy it is on the eyes, the curved screen is much better for long hours working at the computer. PROS: Reduces eye strain and Fatigue. We thought we were taking our chances and just low-balling ourselves, but we ended up being really surprised by the clarity and refresh rate of this curved monitor. It fits well in the corner of the desk as a video editing screen- just wish it were a bit bigger. 🙂 But, don’t we all?!
