The XG270HU omidpx 27″ Widescreen LED Backlit LCD Monitor from Acer features 2560 x 1440 resolution that provides enhanced picture quality, along with a 1 ms response time for reduced lag and blur when viewing movies and videos. It provides a tilt range of -5 to 15°. In addition to the enhanced response time, you also benefit from a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio, 100,000,000:1 contrast ratio, 350 cd/m² brightness rating, and support for up to 16.7 million colors. Once the monitor is set up, you can connect to a variety of devices via the integrated DisplayPort, DVI, and HDMI inputs.

B&H Beat the price of Newegg & had fast shipping. Overall very happy with the monitor, excellent quality. I would recommend this to anyone running AMD. Switching from my old monitor to this is honestly night and day. Only bad thing I can see is i have 2 dead pixels in the upper left side of screen. Not too noticeable so I wont complain about it.

verything about this monitor is great except the build quality. ive had to RMA 2 in a 3 montrh period of time. since it was after 30 days iu had to rma it the 2nd time to acer and i had to pay the shippping. its taking forever and im guessing this one will have dead pixels soon enough.

I was wary of buying this monitor since every reviewer on here complained of dead pixels but mine had none. It was shipped lightning fast and I had it only a day and half after I ordered it. The colors on this monitor are fantastic, the blacks are true and whites correct. The menu is easy enough to manage with the buttons on the underside of the monitor. The frameless design is great and I actually enjoy the orange-copper color of the bezel. My only gripe is that the monitor cannot move up and down on its stand, only tilt… but not much of a problem. The 144hz, FreeSync and 1ms response time are great too. Something else I noticed last night is that the info tab on the menu actually gives you an accurate FPS so it’s easy to check your frames with games using Mantle where software like FRAPS don’t work.

Before this monitor I was using my 50 Samsung 1080p 60hz television as my monitor. Did the job for what I needed. Then came this monitor. I bought it because of other reviews and a buddy of mine also recommended it. I could not be more PLEASED! I love this thing! Great picture and solid customizability with different presets I can edit to get the best picture for whatever I am doing. Would buy again. And very well might for my second monitor..

B&H had the best price and by far the fastest shipping(not to mention free). monitor showed up 3 days after purchase. monitor had a dead pixel just right of center. B&H emailed RMA and return shipping info. new monitor arrived in town tonight and will be delivered tommorrow for a total of 5-6 business days RMA time. try to get this kind of customer support from the compitition.

It is a nice monitor, even the orange trim is ok. As a whole the monitor is great except the display port. If I use the display port while playing GW2 it blacks out for about 3 seconds. And this happens repeatedly. Reading threads, it appears Acer is too lazy to make a driver for their monitor so Windows 10 uses a generic one. Currently I’m using the HDMI port, which works fine.
