I was skeptical about how much of a difference a new monitor would make to me; a 144hz refresh versus my old 60hz? The numbers probably just look good in paper. So what if my screen is ten years old, it’s still a 20 LCD monitor? I was totally wrong; not only is the difference quite noticeable, the modern tech in this monitor is pretty impressive even for someone who doesn’t play a whole lot of games, and even fewer demanding ones. No more screen tearing without V-Sync enabled, which is one of my biggest delights. I’m not really qualified to give an in depth pro review (and obviously don’t have a similar monitor to compare it to), but I can certainly say I an pleased with this one. I still kept my old one for an auxiliary screen, though.

I’m not going to act like I know what to look for in a gaming monitor but I needed one for my Xbox and I’m glad I chose this one. The graphics looked much smoother as opposed to my previous monitor and the built in audio sounds great for when I don’t want to have my headphones on. The presets are great for when I switch over between games and the customization allows me to optimize my gaming experience. The built in reticle setting was a great touch, I felt like this was a great investment. Thanks!
