The V277U bmiipx 27″ 16:9 IPS Monitor from Acer is a V7-series monitor featuring HDMI and DisplayPort connectivity. It supports a 2560 x 1440 resolution and features a 100,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, a 350 cd/m² brightness rating, support for up to 1.07 billion colors, 4 ms response time. You can view this monitor from nearly any direction with 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles and can adjust the tilt for viewing comfort. A DisplayPort cable and power cable are included.

Monitor performs very well. Great colors, no atrocious light bleed, no dead pixels, and shipped faster than expected by BH Photo. Perfect monitor for work and browsing, viewing videos, etc. Would totally recommend. Best bang for buck on a monitor I’ve ever purchased.

I use these for video editing. They seem to work great. Colors don’t pop as much as on my 2011-2015 iMac screens but thats probably because this is a matte display and not glossy. One problem is that it doesn’t weigh much so when you type moderately aggressive, it tends to wiggle around. Not a big deal or me but might be for some people.

Hard to find a better monitor for that price, but considering its having flickering issues & a green line down the side, you would think that would cause for a free repair/replacement through Acer. However, expect to pay shipping. The monitor stand is also ridiculously low, with no way to change the height unless you buy a desk mount. I understand that mass produced products are subject to defective models, but when you factor in the cost of shipping, inconvenience of being out of a monitor for 2 weeks, and a non-adjustable stand, I would personally invest in a better monitor.
