This is a good product at a great price. I really enjoy the built in speakers that declutter my workspace.

It’s a good monitor. The resolution isn’t quite what I would want ideally, but for the price, I recommend it.

I’ll start from the fact that I pre-ordered the monitor for $149.99. I’m using it mostly for work (programming), a bit of Internet browsing and watching youtube. I do play video games sometimes, but not too often. I was looking for a monitor with 75 Hz refresh rate, because I believe that would ease the eye strain. Not because of the high-FPS video games. I’m not going to use its built-in speakers. Moreover, my laptop speakers seemed to be louder than the built-in ones. I connect the monitor to both of my laptops, Dell XPS 15 (9550) and MacBook Pro 13 (2019) with uni HDMI to USB Type C cable. It provides stable Full HD 75Hz connection for both of them over HDMI. No need to buy DisplayPort version unless you would like to use DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable. Pros: * The monitor has about 1mm plastic bezel (left, right, and top) and about 5mm of a black frame under the glass. IMHO it’s a small bezel. Thus it would work quite good if you put two monitors side by side. * It has got VESA mount. * The colors are good for my needs. * It has got lots of settings. You can even overlay the refresh rate directly on the monitor, in order to check if it works correctly, say, in a game. * The response time is much better than on my laptops. Cons: * The default stand allows tilts only. But that’s not a big deal for me. It’s not an issue at all if you decide to put it on VESA mount. * The black color is getting a little bit purplish when you look at it at an angle. If you look at a complete black image on the screen, the center of the image is quite black, while the corners are more purplish. It changes depending on your viewing angle. * You can see pixels if you seat close to the monitor due to 1080p. Fonts could be blurry compared to MacBook’s retina display. Try to disable font smoothing in the OS or the application you use. All in all, it’s a decent Full HD 75hz IPS HDMI monitor with a great price/value ratio, which I would recommend, especially for working from home.

It’s not easy to find a Displayport 27 screen under $200. I needed a screen to match my older Acer H276HL so I could run a dual side-by-side setup. This one’s color performance is not as good as the older Acer, but has a slightly higher refresh rate (75hz) and Displayport compatibility, which was crucial for compatibility with my new setup.
