I’ve been using this monitor for a year and a half now. About a week after I started using it I noticed a couple dead pixels here and there. They seemed to start and stop working periodically. It was a brand new product when I bought it, but I saw other reviews mention similar issues. It wasn’t bad enough to warrant sending it back. Recently another pixel gave out, but this one is a lot more noticeable – it’s a black dot with a shadow and a horizontal line through it. Looking at more recent reviews, I don’t see any mention of dead pixel issues so it may have been a problem with the first batch, but regardless I am disappointed with the product. 4 stars because it is still a very nice monitor aside from that problem.

I was looking for a good, high refresh rate monitor to do some school work and some gaming on and this monitor has been amazing so far. The build quality is exceptional and the screen look really good. There is almost no ghosting, and very small response times. I use it with my MSI GS65 Stealth Laptop, using a Mini-Displayport to Displayport cable and am able to get the full 240 hz.

I was thrilled that delivery was quick and what I’d hoped for. My Grandson is thrilled with his Acer Gaming Monitor, and we both thank B&H, the store that delivers great products and trust.

Only been using the monitor for a month and it started to have some weird lines and flickering on the screen. Also, shadowing of apps that I open in the home screen. I’m really disappointed it is a Acer Predator and it was $410 DOLLARS I wasted.

I have had this monitor for about 3 weeks so far. I have it hooked up with an ASUS ROG Zephyr with Nvidia RTX 2070 Max-Q. I primarily play Call of Duty Warzone and Black Ops at 1080P resolution. I control the game display settings through the Nvidia experience app set all the way to performance. I am getting about 120fps average (sitting in the menu at 60fps) and probably 140-150fps average during gameplay. This monitor handles these speeds with no problem. The size is perfect for playing at the desk, very crisp image. This is my first g-sync compatible monitor and it seems to work great! One note, HDMI vs DisplayPort is not even a competition with this monitor. Maybe I didn’t have the best settings while using HDMI but I would 100% suggest running DisplayPort. The image improved by a lot. I use a USB-C to DisplayPort cable with no issues. As far as other opinions of the monitor go: -The built in USB hub is nice to have, it is basically a docking station for my laptop. with just the USB hub and the USB-C connected vs having speakers, keyboard, and other items connected directly to my laptop. -The minimal bezel is also very nice, -The stand is super sturdy and looks cool with a lot of range of motion. The only con would be that it does have a fairly large footprint. -The speakers are ehhhh, do not buy this monitor expecting the speakers to be anything special (I didn’t which is why this review still has 5 stars). The speakers on my laptop are better than the monitor. Overall, I would definitely buy this monitor again!
