I discovered that the webcam was incompatible with my laptop. The description clearly said it was USB 2.0, so it was my fault for not knowing before ordering. So it was returned. The return process was clearly explained and easily handled. Thank you.

This is an excellent functioning webcam. It was easily recognized by the operating system. The manual focus works well. The mounting method is to drape it over the top of a monitor. This method works, but the unit is easily upset if bumped. The video is clear (thanks to the manual focus) with a definite fish eye look at the edges.

The video quality is acceptable. I don’t use the microphone because I have a separate high-quality microphone. It stays on my monitor just fine. The biggest problem in my opinion is that it doesn’t seem to have any mac software, so I can’t get firmware updates, and I can’t fix the fact that the image is flipped, so any writing in my video comes out backwards. The description says that it is Mac compatible, but I see NO Mac-based support software on their web site.

After only 2 weeks, The camera stopped working and showed an all white screen, could barely make out an image. Uninstalling and reinstalling it and adjusting settings and nothing helped. I threw it in the garbage.
