The Adir Pro 16 ft. Grade Rod is made of non-conductive fiberglass and its great for tough construction leveling jobs. It helps users achieve job efficiency and accuracy when engaging in tasks such as landscaping or setting foundations. For better gripping, this rectangular leveling rod has rounded back corners. It consists of 4 adjustable sections with a maximum extension of 16 ft. and it collapses to 57 in. for easy storage. Unbreakable buttons securely lock sections in place and prevent slipping. With no special bracket required, laser detectors can be mounted directly onto the grade rod. Solid Construction. A high quality leveling rod, this Adir Pro grade rod is made of tough, non-conductive fiberglass that is water-resistant and corrosion-resistant. It is rectangular in shape with rounded back corners for easy gripping. Top section has a 5/8 x 11 female thread for attaching a mini prism. There are 4 sections that allow it to extend and retract for transport and storage. These sturdy sections are firmly held in place with unbreakable locking buttons providing increased stability and precision. This fiberglass is generally good for light use. So if you’re thinking of incorporating it in rougher terrains it is not ideal, as you can split the seams and cause the buttons to slip. This is super easy to read the numbers as well as extending and retracting it in and out.

This was originally a gift for my father since he uses this in his type of work but come to find out, it’s also a tool that I can use for projects at home. It’s something that you would think wouldn’t have as much use as it does, but you’d be surprised at just what you could do with this tool. It’s also a space saver, as it extends when needed. It’s not heavy. And it also comes with a bag as well. I’m honestly impressed with this item.

This fiberglass grade rod is built very well. Though I don’t recommend dropping it, it will hold up to the accidental drop. The measurement markings are big and very clear easily can read measurements from a couple hundred feet. Super easy to add a laser detector for your rotary laser. Calculate elevations with ease!
