This telescoping rod is great high quality made of carbon fiber. This prism pole is adjustable from height 4.97 ft. to 8.53 ft. also comes with a locking pin. I have been used it few times, and feel this product is very easy to assemble and reading is accurate. Also, the extra travel pouch is very convenient and useful.

I myself was finding it hard to test and review this, but then remembered my buddy is a surveyor and so I let him test it and he says it works great, he puts his site thingy on the op, the bubble lets him know he is levels and and he was getting great use out of it.

This prism Pole had an aluminum extension which is threaded to accept different laser and other marking devices. The graduations are set up with the assumption that the marking device will be exactly 6 inches above the adapter, so if you are using something different, you need to make allowances. There is a pin (attached by a cable) which can be used to secure the extension at some of the more common heights (there are holes drilled in the aluminum extension at well marked locations). All in all it is a quality tool.

I’m not sure what to say about this, I don’t think it’s any different than others I have used other than saying it seems high quality and does it’s job. Comes with a really nice case though, seems to be made well and from what I can the company cares enough about it’s customer’s and products to provide, not only a nice case, but all the pieces you need wrapped and highly protected.

I got this pole for my dad who is in construction, but I found that it doesn’t have to just be used with the prism. The pole is super light weight because it’s made of carbon fiber. It’s expandable making it plenty compact, there is a really good level at the top, and you can screw in things to the top or bottom so when it’s not going used with the prism, it has an umbrella attached on our backyard.
