Wow, this arrived fast and is awesome! Our area floods bad and now we can see how much water is on the road, and if it’s safe travel. Good sturdy materials and easy to read. Neighbors love it also.

I have a pond on my property where i fish and its great for the level of the water in my pond. Its constructed very well. I mainly like it to record my pond level changes due to my having coy fish in the pond. I have to make sure the water isn’t too low.

I finally got to use this product because it started snowing and the snow kept pouring. I decided I was going to use this device to measure the amount of snow we got that day. Measurement was accurate. The material is very strong and built to last.

This is a good solid staff gage that is long enough to capture large water surface elevation changes and large enough print to read at a distance. I was a little disappointed that there was so much blank space to the left of the numbers. I would have preferred to just make the gage narrower. Also, the hex screws provided had a fairly small base that dug into the fiberglass with too much force and the sharp angles of a bolt head to catch floating debris. I replaced them with round head screws and a washer to offer better mounting. If those minor drawbacks were changed, I would have given it five stars. We mounted the staff gages onto a 2×8, along with a PVC pipe “stilling well”. The entire assembly was bolted to a T-post and installed in the creek. We then surveyed the gage to a reference point and measured flow nearby. One week after installation the gages are operating as planned.

The gauge feels very durable and lightweight. The font and markings are clear and easy to read. I will be using it in my garage, posted and used as a ruler for large items. Overall happy with the product.
