Note that I don’t shoot professionally and got a year subscription free with my Camera. Light Room is a nice program. Its easy on the eyes and simple to work to use but a nightmare performance wise. It takes forever to boot and importing photos takes three times as long as something like Apple Photos. Using it makes me miss Aperture. Photoshop works great from the testing I did and is has more power than I will ever use. The best part of both of these programs is the amount of resources out there to help learn to use them. The worst part after Light Rooms performance is the subscription model. I plan on finding alternatives such as the Affinity stuff for Photoshop when my subscription ends.

So, you pay full price for Lightroom, but get a $20 gift card good at B&H when you buy LR. Probably the best deal out there for purchasing LR.

The marriage between Photoshop and Lightroom is really the best tool for photography. Everytime Adobe is improving their software and us, their costumers are happier everytime. Amazing choice.

When on sale takes some of the pain of giving Adobe my money. The software is great but hate renting it. There is starting to be competition so

I have used Photoshop for Decades and Lightroom for several years now. These are the best two software applications out there!

I had a little trouble loading onto my Mac but telephoned Adobe for help. Within a few minutes Adobe customer.service had things up and running for me. I made this purchase via a special for $99.00 for one year. Thought it was a great deal. Have been watching videos on you tube which have been very helpful in learning photoshop. LR is pretty easy to learn. Program is quite responsive for me which I really like.

My iMac has a solid state hard drive. Photoshop CC takes 23 seconds to load. I tried a couple of Adobe’s suggestions to improve performance but they didn’t work. I’m so glad Photoshop CS6 was not deleted during installation, its ready to use in about 3 seconds.

I have use light room since it first came out. A great product. I still like buying it out right not as a subscription. The two products together start to make sense as a subscription

I’m a very amateur photographer for most of my life. Digital past 25 years. I’ve always enjoyed trying to learn how to use Adobe’s photography software and amazed at what can be done in comparison with wet darkroom photography. This latest iteration of Lr and Ps cc is complex but exciting. I bought a one year download card instead of getting a disc and installing like I’ve done the last 7 or 8 versions. On my Windows 8.1 machine it took approximately 6-8 hours to get it downloaded on a 30-40 MBPS cable connection and 4 support online consultations. Finally, the support guy took control of my machine and got it to install. Adobe needs to work on their download systems. Obviously, the product is still worth the man-made form of hell it put me through because I am not bitter about the experience. The online support people are very good….I guess because they get a lot of practice.

The price offered on B&H was even lower than using my Kelby One membership discount with Adobe! Once again, B&H has shown it’s the go to place for all things photography. Thanks guys.

This gave me a one year extension for less money by paying up front. It added on to the months I had remaining. I use it frequently and it does pretty much everything I need.

I already had a CC account when I purchased a new camera that came with this pre-paid membership. I was able to update my account with the card and now my account is paid up for a year! How great is that? I use this daily to process my real Estate photos and can’t imagine anything being more user friendly!
