Some big improvements from CS6 and LR4 which I was clinging to to avoid subscription plan. I have used Adobe photo software for 20+ years so it’s second nature, and there’s lot’s to like about the new versions, but I don’t trust the subscription model future pricing (only reason I didn’t give 5 stars). Lots of other non-rental options now, so hopefully that keeps Adobe in line.

If you are a serious photographer, pro or amateur, Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom are where it’s at. I’ve been using Photoshop since 2003 and can’t imagine not having it at hand. That being said, you can imagine how reluctant I was to change from my usual method of purchasing a licensed copy to the new ‘Creative Cloud’ subscription plan, but now that I have tried it and recognize the advantages, I’m very happy with it.

It came as part of product group I purchased. would have been happy with just the standalone version on Lightroom 6 but otherwise it is a nice addition to play with for some time since my Photoshop i have is from to many years ago to hardly count for much.

I’ve been using the stand-alone Lightroom for years, and I don’t use Photoshop. When Lightroom 6/CC came out I decided to take the excellent offer from B&H and buy a subscription. I did this mainly because I was interested in the mobile Lightroom apps for iPhone and iPad. These are not available in the licensed version. Now that I’ve tried Lightroom mobile, I’m unimpressed. There are many limitations, and it runs very slowly. Worst – and perhaps this should have been obvious – I can’t sync between LR on my computer and on my iOS devices without an Internet connection. I often travel in remote areas with no connectivity. I assumed that I could synchronize via Bluetooth or a local hotspot, without an actual Internet connection. But if you can’t reach Adobe’s servers you’re out of luck. Bottom line: I kind of wish I had stuck with an upgraded perpetual license rather than get into this whole rather half-baked Creative Cloud thing. Note that my opinion would be very different if I used both LR and Photoshop, for which the CC license is a fair deal.

I bought this for the wife and I to use. I currently use Photoshop CS6 which works fine for my photography, but with Adobe’s recent announcement that Adobe is dropping updates to CS6 ACR, I figured it was time to buy into the Photoshop Credit Card suite. Five stars based on my positive experience with Photoshop CS6 and two taken away due to Adobe’s Credit Card pricing scheme.

I’m pretty sure everyone knows what you get within Lightroom and Photoshop… so it isn’t worth speaking to. I personally prefer purchasing the software outright than as a subscription model… but that is me. That being said, the fact that B&H offers this as an option with a camera body instead of the accessory kit ( bag, battery, card ) is a huge bonus since I received that kit last year. It’s worth the cost, but getting it as a bonus with a body makes this a huge win for me.

Perhaps you were like me, and when Adobe first announced their Creative Cloud subscription plans, you were frustrated and resisted the push to a subscription model. Having finally caved in a couple of years ago and submitted to the future of Adobe subscriptions, I have to say that the Adobe Creative Cloud Photography Plan is actually a pretty good deal, especially for people who always used to keep up with the latest versions of Photoshop and Lightroom anyway. At $ per month, the cost works out to be roughly the same as purchasing the upgrades as Adobe used to offer them. If you used to hold onto each version of the purchased software for several years and you didn’t keep up with the upgrades as they were offered, this will certainly be more expensive for you, but still, these are great products and the cost is not completely unreasonable. For people new to Photoshop and Lightroom, this can be a really terrific deal because you can completely avoid the initial cash outlay that we all used to have to make to get our first full version of Photoshop. In return for your willingness to sign up, you get an always-current version of some of the best imaging tools on the market, and you have the flexibility to use either the Windows or Mac platform without having to re-purchase a different version. It’s the same tools you’re used to with a new payment plan, and I’ve made peace with the changes and therefore I am able to continue enjoying these very useful products. Regarding the actual software products themselves, as Lightroom has evolved over the years, I’ve found that I’m able to accomplish more and more of my workflow in Lightroom directly, and the need to drop to Photoshop becomes less and less frequent. I appreciate that streamlined workflow because I feel like I’m able to work faster, with less hassle and context switching.

This is an absolute steal at this price for the constantly-updated Photoshop & Lightroom. Wow, do not pass this up ————–. I’m just a photo enthusiast with a Nikon D610 (from B & H) having a great time with my photography hobby.

It was easy to renew my yearly subscription with this download card, plus I got a $30 store credit when I purchased it, which why I decided to renew at this time.

Downloading and installation is easy. Everything works fine as expected.

While I still dont like leasing software, I made the exception with Photoshop and I wish I had made it sooner as you not only have some very improved tools, you also get regular updates and examples on how to use them. Using the download card was a mistake and I would suggest just using the link as it is instantaneous. The only other downside is that this only covers one computer so if you use a desktop and a laptop, you will need to purchase 2.

Getting a 12 month subscription of Ps/Lr for the cost of ten months is a no brainer.

I would have preferred to buy Lightroom Classic, but the subscription was the only option. It’s not intuitive to use, but there are a lot of tutorial videos to help. I’m now shooting raw instead of jpeg.

Lightroom Classic is the ticket, but getting up to speed on an entire suite of software tools is a steep climb. Relative to higher earlier cost for edition purchases, this structure is a reasonable alternative, and I have found it simply functionam on both a Windows tablet as well as a MacBookPro.

I love the Creative Cloud and Lightroom. I have been using Photoshop CS6 and was afraid everything wouldn’t be in the package but I got more than I had in CS6. Everything is so easy to move around in. 3D is so much fun to work with.

I’ve been putting off upgrading my stand alone Lightroom 6 for years but since I had to upgrade my computer, I decided to pull the trigger. There is plenty of upgrades to keep me busy for some time along with several inherent changes since version 6. So far so good. I’m impressed
