Pairing two essential photo editing programs, this Creative Cloud Photography Plan from Adobe includes a 12-month subscription to both Photoshop and Lightroom CC, along with 20GB of online cloud storage. Designed as a comprehensive solution for photographic post-production, these two applications complement the entire range of photo editing needs, including raw image processing, file organization, retouching, and exporting tools. Additionally, this suite also enables you to work with Lightroom Mobile and Photoshop Mix for on-the-go photo editing from your mobile devices, with the ability to sync all of your work simultaneously within Lightroom catalogs across all devices. With both Photoshop and Lightroom functioning within the Creative Cloud, you are also afforded constant feature updates to ensure your programs are running with the most recent feature-set for enhanced editing capabilities. Additionally, the cloud structure also affords access to CC Learn’s vast library of online content and video tutorials to help gain new skills, refine old ones, and gain a greater understanding of what both applications can do for you.

Adobe Creative Cloud which includes Lightroom, Photoshop and Bridge is a great package for photographers. The subscription plan allows you to keep the software up-to-date both for new features but also now camera gear being supported. You have a choice of Download and Download Card. For download B&H emails you the code to redeem the software from Adobe for the download card they ship you a card with the code on it which you then redeem the software directly from Adobe. All things being equal Download is the easiest and fastest way to get the software. However, sometimes there is a price difference. I recently wanted to extend a current subscription and was able to get the Download Card plus a B&H gift card for the same price as just the Download. Sweet deal when you can find it.

I purchased this specifically to post process wedding pictures I was asked to do. I had previously used both Photoshop and Lightroom so I was familiar with how they work. I bought the card instead of the online download so that I could begin the 12 month subscription at my leisure. I like both programs and will use them but am not a fan of renting software which is the general direction in which Adobe has evolved. For the sale price paid it was worth it to me. Since I am not fortunate enough to make my living from photography I doubt I will renew the subscription in a year unless it is offered at sale price again. The programs themselves were easy to install and of course you have auto updates available. All in all a very good buy for me.

Save $20 when you renew your subscription. Had to call support to add it to my account.

The Creative Cloud part was fine, but I had to wait for B&H to send me a card with a code before I could download the software. Why wait, I should have been able to up and running the minute after I paid for it.

I have long needed a photographic database application and light room cc really has provided me with a way of organizing 35 years worth of photographs scanned in from film and now in digital format. There is a bit of a learning curve on light room when it comes to a photographic database which has taken me more than a week to figure out how to create different buckets by subject matter and context. I will reserve my method of organizing pictures into multiple catalogs and collections within those catalogs for a later date. The Photoshop element in this is a really welcome upgrade from CS6 with a lot of features that lend themselves into something more than still pictures. An example here are animated gift’s you can use in webpages built out of video clips. That’s just one element there are many more. The biggest advantage here is the fact that this is a year subscription for about $12 a month which is a darn good deal compared to outright purchase. The rest I will reserve to the date when it comes up for renewal and I find out what the next years charges are going to be. But for the time being I can’t be happier.

I have been using the Creative Cloud for years and this was an easy way to extend my subscription for another year. It was easy to redeem using the instructions provided on the card.

… the advantages of the automatic updates probably outweighs the subscription concerns. I am a decades-long user of Photoshop (evolving with it since early 1990s). Admittedly looking back at it, keeping the Adobe creative suite updated was an expensive proposition over the years. I have a whole museum of vintage retail licenses I guess… As far as usefulness: I am finding Lightroom more useful as a photographer these days; while continuing to rely on Photoshop and its robust algorithms for masking, channel control, layers and artistic application to meet for my needs as a graphic designer. A few sticky spots: Wasn’t thrilled that I had to physically reload the third party plug-ins, though it isn’t a big enough deal to make a big fuss about.

I used to upgrade every other version of Photoshop. The photography Creative cloud subscription allows me to stay current with Ps for less than I previously paid.

I resisted buying the subscription to Photoshop CC/Lightroom for a long time, having opted for the stand-alone version. In the end, I was forced to buy the subscription because Adobe was not going to update Version 6 any further, and I wasnt able to import RAW files from the new Nikon Z7. However, I have no regrets. Im very happy with all the features that werent available in Version 6, and the installation was seamless. It imported all my photos from the Version 6, and of course I was able to import the Nikon Z7 RAW files after a quick updated.

Purchased CC 2017 as a first time user. Presently using Elements 11, 14 & 15 along with PaintShopPro and thought I would move up. I will not be renewing when the 12 months is up. 3-4 minutes from clicking in the start menu until I am able to load an image. Most of my third party plug ins do not work anymore, frequent crashes, and IMHO Lightroom is grossly over rated. Basically another cataloger with a few edit functions thrown in.

What can I say, it’s the most current version of Photoshop and Lightroom. What I really like is that is can be used on two computers at once, my PC and my wife’s Mac. A little tricky to install along with or in place of older versions of Photoshop.
