The improvements of subscription based verses the disc based probably would not have been enough enticement to commit to forever dishing out $/month. But when B&H gives a 20% discount of top of that, I could not turn my back on that.I wish KelbyOne would bundle a set of tutorials with the subscription or a subscription package.Only problem was on Adobe’s end – did not load. Had to call India to finish the installation and they couldn’t understand me and vice versa. Took a week to stop the previous month to month subscription to take advantage of this yearly subscription. To do it they loaded the new one under a nonexistent email address as a new Adobe profile. What a mess! Plus escalated problem to supervisor and supervisor never lived up to callback commitments.

What can one say about creative cloud? I have been using Lr since v4 and Ps since CS6. It is the industry leader for photo editing and generally, it just works. The subscription model can be a bit pricey, but buying the 12 month subscription from B&H when a $20 gift card is included helps to soften the expense.

I was told that this would add a year to my existing subscription which ran until May 2016. Instead of adding a year extending the subscription to May 2017 it started a new subscription ending Dec 2016. A call to Adobe customer service confirmed that this is how it works. I lost 6 months of my original discounted subscription. DO NOT REDEEM UNTIL THE END OF YOUR CURRENT SUBSCRIPTION.

Received package very quickly. The only issue is opening the package it came in. I know it has to be secure but need to have some type od line to show you where to cut to get it open without damaging the contents

was only looking for photoshop, but it’s more expensive by itself (for some reason).. i don’t use lightroom (yet) but it was basically free & brought the cost of the subscription photoshop down a bit.. would prefer non-subscription based software given the choice.
