I started in the wet darkroom at about 6 years of age… 1950 something It was my fathers space in a Hearst News facility in a large city. I got paid by receiving the next weeks comic section a week early while the ink dried. I still have a large format darkroom but it has been dry… I purchased my first Adobe Photoshop with the complement of 3.5 inch discs pretty early. The same for most of the upgrades and suites. The Creative cloud package is certainly the best yet…My only issue has been the download period itself. It took hours due to our location…No city down here…Don’t let that stop you…The apps worked as designed right out of the wire…The learning curve will straighten out

I already had an Adobe account. It was very easy to apply the purchase plan number on the card and complete my download. I didn’t have any problems at all.

These two software apps are the essential tools for any photographer. I have been using these programs for years since I became a photographer and there is no other software better than these for your photographic art.

After spending years buying Adobe photo software disks or downloads, I came to the realization that moving to the Creative Cloud wasn’t such a bad or painful move. Also, when B&H had this killer deal for the photographer package, I bought two one-year subscriptions for myself and my son. With the new features bundled in Lightroom CC, the subscription paid for itself the first few days with increased sales and now I can focus on post-production without having to worry about buying upgrades. Live in the Creative Cloud–and enjoy your extra free time shooting.

Very easy to work with and learn basics to improve any photo. Once one begins to explore more into what is possible and learn the many benfits these programs it becomes even more amazing

I used the card to extend an existing Photography plan for a year. The price was the same but with the added $25 B&H gift card it was a good value. My only complaint is that redemption website was geared toward starting a new plan so it was difficult to tell whether the existing plan was extended. I contacted Adobe (via chat) and after a long wait was assured it was extended (which it was). You need to wait about 24 hours before checking that the extension took.

Good program. Recently also purchased the Lightroom 6 program to run on a 3rd computer, cannot get a plug in for the new Panasonic Lumix DMC GX 85 RAW files. Even though Adobe wants everyone to subscribe to CC, as long as they continue to sell the stand-alone 6 version, they should make plug ins available for new cameras. DXO, an excellent RAW processor provides updates and plugins as needed.

I’ve been using Photoshop and Lightroom since they came out. This is definitely the best version yet! Love them both!

I’ve worked with over a dozen high level pro photographers and they all use Lightroom first, and Photoshop second. The CC photography plan gives you Lightroom AND Pkotoshop, so you have all you need for post production work!

The only way to keep up to date now.

There have been enough additions to LR in CC to make me take the plunge. They all seem to work as well as advertized. I particularly like the ability to brush out the effects of gradient filters. On the other hand, the changes don’t provide a lot that isn’t possible in Photoshop CS6 and Perfect Photo Suite, except the ability to keep the HDR and panorama files in RAW format (which IS nice). I feel like it’s a bit of a gamble that Adobe could decide to jack up the CC subscription price one they have enough people hooked, but I guess my early-adopter heart took over.

Once I applied this to my Adobe account, Adobe says I am paid up until Jan 2018. No more monthly fees. Thanks B&H!

I was already a LR5 user and was ready to enter the world of CC. The Photography Plan appears to be a good choice and will pay for itself in the long run with the inclusion of PS CC. Now I get to take some PS CC courses so I know how to use it. So far, the software has been very fast (or much faster than what I was used to) and I look forward to diving into more features of PS CC. LR CC is the best for handling my photo libraries and simple edits…just an update to a newer version.

I already subscribe so this saved me money and monthly payments

I was debating between paying for Photoshop CC month by month or getting a yearly subscription. When I saw this option on sale, it made the decision for me. The price is now locked in for a year, and I even got it at a discount! I’m very happy!

I admit it. I am a big fan of the monthly creative cloud product. My workflow involves this product and this feal through B&H was perfect

Great upgrade – looking forward to learning PS CC as I’ve only been working with PS Elements until now. Nice new option in LR6 CC too.

Since starting using Lightroom a few years ago, I’d never go back. Workflow is awesome. Love the new Creative Cloud option.

I purchased LR because it is my understanding that Apple is walking away from Aperture, its advanced image-editing software that I have been using for years. I find LR to be a confusing maze. The tech support seems to be based in Asia and the telephone sound quality leaves much to be desired. More importantly, I find tech support folks simply have not mastered their products. (I get this as LR is complex.) Even relatively simple questions take a while to be answered while the Adobe employee has to look up answers and then read from scripts that do not always precisely address the question. Some of the organizational aspects of LR are downright bizarre. I am sure that with time and patience LR has some good features buried in its recondite terminology. But I wouldn’t count on getting speedy help from Adobe, which is pretty much what happens when one giant company establishes a monopoly in any given market. I have found the online courses offered by Scott Kelby to be much more helpful than Adobe’s employees and its videos. I would say to anyone potential purchaser: explore all other alternatives and be ready to invest a lot of time on hold with Adobe.
