Other features in the 2020 release include support for Microsoft Information Protection (MIP) technologies such as Azure Information Protection (AIP) and Information Protection using Office 365. Its built-in optical character recognition (OCR) can be configured to detect text on images. Additionally, DirectInk technology allows you accurately write and draw directly on the document using digital pens without selecting a tool, giving you a more natural experience when signing your name in the Signatures Panel on Windows 10 devices. For MacBook Pro users, Acrobat Pro includes Touch Bar functions that help you to work more efficiently. Subscribing to the Acrobat Pro DC service enables additional features such as mobile device support.

Good software but apparently a known issue installing to windows 10 which required a call to adobe, giving them access to your system, and manipulation by the adobe rep to install the software. It would seem that there installation program should have been developed more carefully.

I have used Acrobat for years on Windows and was expecting the same experience here. I use it mostly for scanning documents and the Mac version is sooo buggy. Errors messages suddenly stop working and disapears, click on scanner options to have nothing happen are all common. I am so happy I still can scan using my windows machine. (BTY it is the same on two different scanners, so it is not a one-off bug with a particular scanner.)

I purchased this I tried Perfect PDF and it is too hard to use Adobe is simple to use and the price was right.

I have used several Windows versions of Acrobat. This was the first time I have installed it on a Mac. Half of my use is for scanning documents to PDF. This interface for scanning is much poorer on the Mac than Windows, AND it is very buggy. Sometimes you just get an error code and you have to start over, other times the scanner would run but no scanned file would appear on the computer. There are multiple bugs. I have both an Epson and Brother scanner. The problems appear across both scanners.
