This Heavy Duty Industrial Drywall Sander from Aleko is designed for grinding drywall, ceilings, walls of the inner and outer surfaces, clearing floor residues, paint coatings, adhesives and loose plaster. It helps sand larger and hard to reach areas that would be too cumbersome, time consuming and difficult to sand using a traditional hand sander. Use a vacuum cleaner with this model for an almost dust-free working environment. A strong grip handle and control knob for speed adjustment make it easy to use. An extension section will allow for a wider set of applications. When working the corners, the detachable brush housing segment can be removed to allow better access.

Have used the Aleko for several years on numerous ceilings & walls. For moderate use, it’s a great unit. You have to take some time to learn the amount of pressure to apply so you don’t gouge the surface or go too lightly. Expect to make mistakes on your first few walls and ceilings. Used it for finish sanding (240 grit) and to grind off popcorn ceilings (80-100 grit). Had to use electrical tape to hook it up to my shop vac hose with an adapter, but once you figure out that connection it gets probably 90%+ of the sanding dust. I always wear a respirator and ear protection – with this running and your shop vac it gets loud – especially if you are working over your head. I’ll take loud over soft as it works very well. If you think the suction isn’t working too well, your shop vac filter is probably blocked. Have two filters and swap them out as you go. (On the same job, i just bang them clean in a dumpster to get 80% of the particles then reuse them.)Make sure you have enough sanding discs.Having hand/pole sanded before for years (and dealing with the dust), this thing has been a huge blessing.(The storage box is a huge plus.)
