This decoration has several different flash patterns that it automatically cycles through. You can’t pick your favorite one and leave it on that, it just keeps rolling on through all of them.Its pretty flimsy. It’s made of the thinnest plastic known to man. I get much thicker plastic in the tray my Costco cinnamon rolls come in. Plus the cord is about 50 feet long but super thin. I’m waiting for the cat to start chewing on it and fry it out.From the street at night it gives a nice light show. Semi-obnoxious to annoy the neighbors.Its kind of expensive for what you get but if its on clearance after Christmas I’ll buy another one.

The outside of the box says it is for outdoor use, but the instructions state not to expose to water, thus don’t use outdoors. Also, it unfortunately has ONLY one setting with 6 motions. One of the motions is about a 3 seconds bright annoying strobe, which we wish we could turn off. Other than that, the light works and most of the motions are ok. I think just a plain lighted star without “glam motions” would be nice.
