I paired this up with a ASUS X-570 Prime pro, MSI RTX 2080 Super, and 2 16 GB Corsair for memory. This thing screams and absolutely tears through anything I throw at it. Goodbye intel, Hello AMD

Besides building systems for myself, I also build them for clients. I have been getting mostly AMD requests since the Ryzen line started gaining traction in the market over the last couple years. When I build multi media or gaming machines, the 3700X has been a great choice for both budget and performance gaming and media creation systems.

Amazing how fast this got here during Covid thanks team

5600X systems and 3700x systems have similar performance, but 3700X has RGB cooler (for those cases with glass panel).

Sure, it’s not the absolute latest at this point, but it’s a great processor for gaming and moderate content creation. Only complaint is the mounting system for the included Wraith Prism cooler – it can be hard to clip into the motherboard mounts, but seems fairly stable once attached.

I recently upgraded and built my own computer. This processor is so fast and I can run so many programs with out having to worry about it slowing down. Would highly recommend this cpu. Keep in mind you will need a graphics card since this chip does not have onboard graphics.

This is a very solid CPU, albeit only a slight upgrade from my 3600. I do CAD modeling for a living and wanted to be able to do some light CAD on the side and the extra cores seemed fairly important. Gaming wise, there’s no discernible difference from my 3600. Both worked well under XMP with PBO turned on and pumped out some great FPS on any game I throw at it paired with my 2080 Super. Overall, great card and would recommend.

This is for people who game and handle heavy work flows! Before wanting this product because it offers much more think about what you’ll actually need it for to utilize all available power.as well before buying your components make sure they are compatible with everything else. With that being said, this is one of the best processors. I have ever used it handles games and heavy work flow flawlessly!

Recently made the switch from intel to amd with this processor. the performance is impressive for the price, and runs cooler than my intel setup. Sufficient for my needs in gaming and photo editing.

I upgraded my Cyberpower PC from Ryzen 1400 to 1700, 1700 to 2700x and now 2700x to 3700x. All upgrades were seamless once the Motherboard BIOs were updated. This one has provided the most increase due to the increase of the IPC but also the fact that I was able to increase my dual-rank 32gb ram from running 3000mhz CL14 to 3600mhz CL15 with ease. Can get it running to 3733mhz but it forces to CL18 even when I have it set lower. Guessing that’s an issue with the Beta BIOs from MSI.

It never fails to be a great CPU, I have no complaints at all.

The performance is excellent. 8 Cores for heavy loads and excellent for gaming as well. Especially for the price to performance. Thought about the 5800x but the 3700x is all I need and more and its plenty to push my RTX 3070 in 1440p 144HZ. The included Wraith Prism keeps it cooled to 40C idle and maxs in the mid 50’s while gaming.
