I have a 12U rack that I use for multimedia drives and organization. I placed this PDU on the back of the rack where it isn’t visible. I use it to power both drives in the rack and some miscellaneous devices above the rack. No complaints here.

This is an excellent entry-level PDU. Value is there – low-cost without many bells/whistles. Solid build feel like all APC products. Just be sure you’re purchasing the appropriate unit for your project – this has L5-20P plug.

This is my second rack mount power strip from APC and, like its brother, this is a solidly built product. There’s not much to go wrong, but it’s nice to not worry about build, or electrical, quality. Could it be better? Yes. Many plugs are now actually small power blocks and it would be nice if some of the receptacles were oriented 90 degrees to how they are now.
