The replacement for the expired APC battery is working well. Another fine product from B&H Photo.

Needed to replace battery and B&H had best price on genuine APB product. Works as expected.

Plugged in the battery, closed up the unit, plugged UPS into the wall, and turned it on. No problems, no beeps, chirps, or wait for charging. Kept my computer up with a recent momentary power glitch. Note: You can go to the APC web site, enter your information, and download a free shipping label to return the old APC battery for recycling.

Product arrived in excellent condition and packaging in a timely manner.

Tried Duracell and multiple other brands and this is totally subjective. I use a paint marker to write the in-service date when I install them and notice APC is usually at lest a year or more past it’s lifecycle date when I replace them. I can’t say that with other brands. -1 point as I have to clip the battery terminals width a little bit as the APC UPS connectors are too narrow.

You might think they are pricey but the originals last 5-6 years. I have tried the local battery places with extremely low-quality batteries in UPS before… I don’t get more than a year out of them. Best price and best long-term investment are the APC batteries.

Works great and better than replacing a whole unit.
