The Replacement Battery Cartridge #124 from APC replaces the battery in your UPS that restores the performance to the original specifications. The battery cartridge is designed for UPS models BR1200G-FR, BR1200GI, BR1300G, BR1500G, BR1500G-FR, BR1500GI, BX1500G, SMC1000-2U, SMC1000I-2U. Since the UPS models are hot-swappable, no network downtime is required to install them. Moreover, the RBC battery provides a 3 to 5 year expected battery life. Included along with the battery are the required connectors.

I had no idea that installing these batteries would be so easy . I did watch a youtube video and that made things very clear. it is however a very simple procedure. Remove the old batteries and replace with the new ones. They slide out under their own weight and go in the same. It’s like a do over for one third the price.

Came fully charged and took all of ten seconds to replace. I’m not sure what some of the reviews are about otherwise. Mine was five years old, seldom used at all but I figured 5 years is about time to replace it. B&H service great as always.

Very simple to remove the old battery and install a new one. Just cost more than it should. The original battery only lasted 2 years. I hope this on last it’s advertised 3 to 5 years.

APC BX1500g OEM replacement cartridge. No disassembly of the old to swap parts to the new. Just remove UPS battery cover. Pull out old battery and slide in new battery. Replace cover. Completely hot swappable on the BX1500G.

My Back-UPS BX1500 G wasn’t working at all. It would shut down with even the slightest momentary power glitch. It reported error F02 On-Battery Output Short. The unit now works perfectly again with this replacement battery. Whew!

I didn’t quite know what to do when my APC 1500 finally alerted and ran out of juice after many years of 100% uptime. Checked with APC’s website, saw pricing and shipping costs, and thought, hey – I bet B&H handles these replacements. Sure enough, and it was less expensive, free delivery and I totally trust my B&H if there’s any kind of problem. I received a brand new, inspected battery, installed it, cranked everything back up, and charged it up to 100% while working. Between an older Apple PowerPC Mac Tower (which pulls up to 425 watts), two 19 monitors, a laptop, internet router, Apple Time Capsule wifi router/hd, two external hard drives, this beast handles it all with plenty of power and minutes to spare. And, we took 3 outages right after getting back online, and we never felt a thing. Thanks B&H, I’m a big fan as you know, never change!

APC (American Power Conversion) has intriduced a multitude of battery back-up devices for computers which are vaailable in every big box and stationary chain but just try to find the proper replacement battery when the device soecifuc one in your model finally cyckes out. Thank goodness for B & H; they had the exact battery for my 10 year old APC back-up in stock and shipped it free for arrival in kess than a week!

This battery lasted less than 18 months. They should last much longer. Other battery systems I own have lasted years on the same utility circuit as this (same outages and duration, similar loads). The reliability of this product is terrible.

The APC124 battery in my APC UPS 1500 no longer would stay charged. I needed a replacement. B&H was the least expensive so I purchased the replacement from B&H. It arrived free of charge in 2 days . It was an original APC, not a different manufacturer’s replacement model. It installed without a fuss and the UPS is back online. GREAT! VERY HAPPY! FIVE STARS! However, in the past, when I have purchased a UPS replacement battery, I would be asked to return the old battery, free of charge, in the same box the new one came in. B&H doesn’t want the old battery. For environmental reasons, I can’t just trash the old battery. I must find some place to take the old battery for disposal. SOMEWHAT SAD! So I dropped my rating to 4 STARS!

I usually buy replacement battery cells only once — assuming that after 2 replacements the electronics of the UPS have had enough wear to warrant a full replacement. Thanks for offering these at a better price than APCC! I’ll definitely keep B&H as my first stop from now on.
