The Replacement Battery Cartridge #124 from APC replaces the battery in your UPS that restores the performance to the original specifications. The battery cartridge is designed for UPS models BR1200G-FR, BR1200GI, BR1300G, BR1500G, BR1500G-FR, BR1500GI, BX1500G, SMC1000-2U, SMC1000I-2U. Since the UPS models are hot-swappable, no network downtime is required to install them. Moreover, the RBC battery provides a 3 to 5 year expected battery life. Included along with the battery are the required connectors.

I needed to get a replacement for my APC xs 1500. I bought it when I was living in Toronto, CA. There were many black outs during the summer months. So in 2010 I bought this unit. The battery started to go bad around 2016. I did not open the battery compartment until mid 2017. One of the batteries began to leak and swell up. White crust had compromised the casing. Had problems pulling the batteries out because they were expanding. I was going to do just a battery remove and replace after seeing the videos. Then I saw these direct OEM replacements here and B&H. Fast and secure shipping(as always from these folks.) Once I opened the box with the new batteries, swapped old for new. Works like day one. Thanks B&H!!!!

I owed APC UPS for a few years and I have two UPS’s and they are great products and I would trust only APC power needs. I just ordered a replacement for one of my UPS’s and the battery lasted a long time till I needed it replace. If you own a APC UPS stick with APC batteries no settle for the cheaper unreliable batteries. APC may cost a little more but in the end it’s well worth the extra dollars for a premium product.

I ordered one of these, replaced my old battery, let it charge for over 24 hours, and it never would charge up. Battery was dead on arrival and had probably been sitting in the warehouse too long. All batteries should be checked before they are sent to ensure that they will charge or at least have a charge on them. Sent it back. B&H is great to work with and they refunded me. Just one of those things, disappointed but that’s the way it goes sometimes. Hopefully they were able to send it back to APC and get their money back for a faulty battery.

This replacement has not really been tested yet but installed easily into APC Backup Pro 1500G and seems to work fine.

I purchased this to replace the 7-year-old battery inside my APC BR1500G UPS. It installed quickly with no issues. I went with the original APC brand because of their reliability and extended life. Note that the batteries only have a life span of 5 years, but, the original (APCRBC124) lasted, in my experience, for about 7 years before dying out.

Dear Sirs, After carefully following the instructions for replacing the battery pack and installing the new battery pack I waited for a week to perform the program test which passed. But I noticed that the Run time is severely shorter than the original Battery pack. This replacement battery Run Time is As Low as 35min this is very disappointing, please exchange this defective product, Thank You, Rudy

The original battery failed suddenly. Luckily I ordered this one to have a replacement just in case. Other on-line vendors had confusing and inaccurate descriptions of the brc124 battery pack (actually two batteries that are factory-joined in parallel). The brc123 is a different capacity. It was easy to replace and all is well.

Replacement of my original APC UPS cartridge could not have been easier. I just unplugged the unit, turned it over, popped-off the battery compartment door, slid the old cartridge out then slid the new replacement in, and closed the door. I have replaced APC UPS cartridges a half-a-dozen times, always with the OEM recommend APC replacement cartridge. Using APC units is your best insurance for continuing the trouble-free performance of your APC UPS.
