The Replacement Battery Cartridge #124 from APC replaces the battery in your UPS that restores the performance to the original specifications. The battery cartridge is designed for UPS models BR1200G-FR, BR1200GI, BR1300G, BR1500G, BR1500G-FR, BR1500GI, BX1500G, SMC1000-2U, SMC1000I-2U. Since the UPS models are hot-swappable, no network downtime is required to install them. Moreover, the RBC battery provides a 3 to 5 year expected battery life. Included along with the battery are the required connectors.

Bought a new Battery in Oct 2018. It worked fine for a year, now my UPS is complaining battery needs replacement again. I live in Middlesex county in NJ. The power is solid. Not sure why the battery gave out so soon. Disappointed.

These OEM batteries are better than any 3rd party that I have tried – including Duracell. The only issue with this particular battery is the drop-in design… be very careful when inserting it because if the tab in the UPS isn’t at the correct spot, the tabs on the battery or on the UPS can be pushed in and no longer make contact. In my case both happened and I had to disassemble both the UPS and the battery to put the terminals back into the correct position for mating.

Bought and installed battery on 10/5/17. today 10/11/18, the battery does not take a charge. My 1500M is showing that I need to replace the battery 6-days after the warranty expired. so my battery was good for 1-year and 6-days.

I have an APC Back-Ups Pro 1500 with the additional BR24BPG battery pack. I received errors indicating the battery was experiencing a fault after 4-5 years of use, but with no indication as to whether it was the UPS or the external battery pack. The picture shows an APC label. The 5 replacement batteries I ordered all do not have an actual APC label. They are made by a 3rd party company. I think the picture showing an APC label should be removed and it should be a picture of the actual label of the 3rd party company. We’ll see how long it lasts. Hopefully it will be the same 3-5 years I got from the original APC batteries.

Battery is supposed to (normally) last 3-4 years, but the warranty is only 1 year. My BackUPS 1500 said the battery was bad (even though it had a full charge and the standby time remaining was quite good) and it kept beeping at me to replace the battery. After I bought the new battery I found my old receipt showing the UPS with battery was purchased from APC dealer on 11/6/2017. I replaced it on 6/8/2018.
