Worked perfect and was very easy to install

Made in Vietnam. Vendors need to make country(ies) of origin more apparent, i.e., they need to list the country(ies) of origin. Those in our extensive social and business network (national/international) find the switch to Vietnam mfg. offensive, insulting and indifferent as well as a betrayal.

Popped the old one out while still powered on, popped the new one in, everything keeps on humming.

I have had this UPS for many years. This is the second battery replacement. Everything worked well as expected.

I depend on my APC battery backups (I have 4 of them of similar size – two home office locations) to allow me to save my business desktop and workstation computer work during brownouts or power surges. APC OEM batteries vs. the less expensive clones are worth the investment for reliability and longevity when replacing the battery. Reminder: make sure you order the right battery for your model number. Easy to replace and install.

First one came with the inside box damaged and dead battery. BH replaced it with a fresh battery. Now my UPS is alive again!

Good price from B&H

My APC 1500 surge protector with battery backup went defective. Self check test showed battery failure. Rather than replacing the entire expensive backup, I merely ordered this #124 replacement battery and replaced the original one for allot less cost. It now works good as new. Simply, side the old battery out and slide in the new one and that’s it. I did not know replacement APC batteries were available until re-reading the APC instructions and by APC web site research.

Just remember to do a self-test on your unit

this is the second one I’ve purchased for my Battery Backup system. Works great and arrives quickly. APC 1500 purchased in 2011 – the first replacement was from B&H in 2016. And now the second one from B&H in 2022. So they seem to last 5-6 years. Super easy to replace by myself – just watch a video on how to do it.

Went into a rather expensive APC XS 1500 UPS. Easy to install, worth the purchase price just to make the thing stop beeping incessantly! A bit disappointed to find that APC doesn’t want their old batteries back anymore, but weight and shipping cost is probably prohibitive. Best source is B&H – by far. Hassle-free, great to deal with.
Dominique Hackett (verified owner) –
B&H prices are competitive, battery arrived packed well, and I could use the packing to send back to recycling provided by APC. Had to go online for that, and it was simple to print label and drop off.
Jada West (verified owner) –
Took all of five minutes to swap out my bad battery for this one in my battery backup. Perfect replacement with zero issues.
Travon Fisher (verified owner) –
purchased this for an older APC after buying the wrong one recommended through Am@z**. This dropped right in, full charge, holds charge, and tests perfect. B&H had the best price on this battery as well as free shipping. Do yourself a favor and call APC first to ensure you are buying the correct battery
Adonis McCullough (verified owner) –
Very reasonable price. I don’t think so anyone can beat this price.:)
Annabelle Ferry (verified owner) –
It was very easy to swap the battery, and it works perfectly.

These are the correct replacement batteries for certain APC Battery Backup (UPS) units. When they arrived, installation instructions were included. If you follow the instructions, replacement is easy and fast. Replacing the batteries after three to five years makes the backup unit work better and last longer. And it is definitely worth the price to replace the batteries, not the whole unit.
Donny Hermann (verified owner) –
UPS threw alert that battery does not work anymore after 3+ years. This replacement battery was an easy fix to prolong life of my equipment.
Queenie Parker (verified owner) –
This will be my 3rd time replacing this battery! It has been lasting almost 4 months to the day. Original went bad 12-14-2012, replaced, new one went bad 4-15-13, replaced. It is now 8-10-13 and it went bad again!!! I’ve had enough! Can not afford to keep doing this! Location of the unit is a very cool & dry place so it’s not an environment issue.

Works as intended. Not much to say about this product except it was an easy to change. Only rated it as a 4 because no way to recycle to old battery at B&H so brought it to one of the chain office supply stores and they charged me $5 fee. Only have had this for a couple weeks so can’t comment on how long it will last.
