Protect up to 7 devices from power surges and spikes with the BE600M1 Back-UPS 600 VA UPS with Battery Backup from APC. This uninterruptible power supply features 7 AC outlets and a USB port to safely provide power to up to 8 devices. Audible alarms indicate changes in power, battery failure, wiring problems, and if a battery was disconnected in order to keep you informed. Additionally, there are LED indicators to quickly inform you of the status of the unit.

Purchase for mobile workstation: laptop, two monitors, support items and BE600M1 does not have the power to last for a few seconds if main power is disconnected before BE600M1 is turned off. Very disappointed.

B&H saved the sale that I abandoned on the Schneider Electric funky website. Should have used B&H in the first place. What was I thinking? B&H better deal, too.

I’ve previously owned two different models of the Back-UPS ES 550 – which is a slightly less powerful unit and had no problems. Inevitably the battery dies and you are forced to either spend an almost equal amount on a replacement or just get a new unit, which is what I chose to do here. Unfortunately it did not work properly. The unit emits an intermittent beeping sound which APC tech support failed to diagnose. They replaced my unit with another and I had the same problem. At this point the tech support staff decided I was drawing too much power and opted to upgrade me to a more powerful unit. The odd thing is that the 550’s I owned previously had no problems, so not sure why a 600 would have difficulty powering a single computer, monitor and modem. Makes no sense. I received my 2nd replacement unit – a 700 with an led screen, which was rather nice of them I’ll admit, but it was severely cracked. Not sure if this happened during shipping or if they mailed out a refurb unit that was not inspected properly. Either way, I was now in for a THIRD replacement. They sent out an 800 this time (no LED screen, but more powerful battery). Third unit has been working. Needless to say, this involved a LOT of phone time and testing various units which were shipped to me. In the end I have a unit that works but had I known it would require 2 or 3 hours of my time I would not have purchased and APC at all and will not be doing so when the battery in this new one inevitably dies.

just got this. let it charge over night. currently have a linksys EA7500, Synology DS418, USB external drive, and an HP All-in-One PC connected to the the battery ports – estimated battery time?? 48 minutes!…also a Cisco Catalyst, and extra monitor plugged into the the Surge ports. USB connected to my PC running PowerChute , usb charging my Vape and cell phone. Everything is running like an absolute dream!

I bought this for my custom built home PC as a means to protect myself from a storm and give myself a few minutes to save whatever work I have done or simply finish whatever i’m doing. Instead what I’ve gotten is an automatic storm detector and simply a very expensive surge protector, because it trips every time I have a surge and still restarts/shuts down my computer. I bought a UPC, versus a surge protector, SPECIFICALLY SO THAT I COULD HAVE POWER. I have had this product for just about 9 months, and on 5 separate occasions now it has failed to do the one thing I bought it for. The battery works great, if it simply gets unplugged from the wall, but does not turn on if the power is surged by a storm. Not the quality of product I want.

I love the slim shape of this UPS. It tucks behind the shelving unit holding my router, sits out of sight perfectly. The outlets are well-spaced, and accommodate a number of oddly shaped plugs and adapters.
