This is an excellent product, and I am happy I purchased it through B&H! Initially, I received a faulty unit (no fault of B&H), and contacted B&H via the chat application. The representative was friendly, professional, and quickly completed the process for my return. I am delighted to say that B&H replaced the defective device, without delay. I am looking forward to my next B&H purchase!

We deploy these for our standard desktop installation. The USB port on these are a plus for my clients!

This is a good battery backup and surge protector for computers. So far , no issues.

I have a i7 3770k in a asus p8zz7 m, (around 5 yrs old) with 3 ssd’s inside, a corsair h80i gt, a radeon rx470, and a BenQ SW2700, all connected to it, -power and usb power for the ssd’s-. I have it with the generic windows driver because that’s the one that windows recognizes. Software works fine. Must of the time it’s at a third of the power and when rendering (capture one) goes to half with and estimated 12 min time, I believe it’s more than enough for me to save what I’m doing and turn the computer off.

I recently retired from home based travel business however I still have my computers. Two have been protected by APC backups but the third one was not. I somehow had another brand. So I purchased this 600VA to replace it because I am aware that the APC is a superior product.

No issues so far after a month of use, but won’t really know until power dies and battery needs to kick in.

This UPS is nearly identical to it’s “Big Brother”, the BE850M2, lacking only a second USB outlet. A chance to save ~ $30 if you don’t need but one cell phone or tablet charging connection.

Easy to install. Easy to mount. I use this to keep a small server room running including fiber, router, switch and a windows i5.

This is my fourth unit. All my electronics are protected by one of these, and I’ve not been disappointed. I don’t use the software, so can’t speak to how well it works. A neighbor lost all the tv’s in his house for a near lightning strike, even though none were on. Mine were fine. We also get frequent power glitches. Not sure the cause, but it’s street wide and the power will go off _on_off_on… like there’s a relay station that can’t make up it’s mind. In any event, these little UPS gems protect and keep the xbox, tv’s & pc’s running without a hick-up. I’ve know APC for many years in the work place and have confidence using them in my home. Given the cost of replacing just one tv, this is money well spent.

The setup was very easy. Plugged in the battery on the bottom of the unit, then plugged in my devices. The NAS was able to connect and will shutdown safely when needed.

Installed my UPS unit after letting it charge overnight and currently have my cable modem and wireless router plugged in. Plan on testing it in a few weeks but so far no issues.

These units work well they are a nice thin design lighter weight than most others. Newer computers and monitors require less power so this foots the bill

Consumers today are increasingly aware of the threats to their home computer network. Have you considered the quality of the power that comes to your home? The APC Back-UPS BE600M1 not only protects you from dangerous power surges, it will help you keep the lights on in case of a power outage. Don’t loose a document because of a glitch in the power grid.

We have used the BackUPS 550 for years for our clients. I like the new form factor of the BE600M1. It works better for the tight spots under desks.

Great Product! Highly recommend for home office and the usb connections are a plus!

If a UPS is needed to fit a relatively small space and large current draw on backup is not needed, this will fit the bill. It also has a user replaceable battery, a big plus in my opinion. I use this to backup my router/modem, a mesh network node connected to the router/modem, and an ink-jet printer. Now, when there is a power blink, the internet does not drop out, and the printer stays on line.

Solid battery backup with USB support for software shutdown. I have replaced over 100 battery backups with these units and these are great.
