The BR1350MS fits nicely at the bottom of my wall mounted cabinet style 9U rack and has perfectly spaced power sockets for even the massive ISP router wall wort. I have it installed in a closet on the other side of the building and even with the door closed, the alert sound is adequately loud. Documentation is sparse but clear. In all, very happy.

Make sure you power up your units, don’t assume they will work out of the box like we did and wait 30 days for the return window to expire.

When this top-rated UPS was on sale, I did not hesitate to order it. It arrived just in time before the recent storms and it kept my gear running even when lights and appliances went off for a second on two occasions. It replaces another UPS which had failed. The LCD readout is informative: it can be helpful to know how much power a particular device consumes.

This model has some premium features including lots of power, sine wave output, extra USB charging ports and lots of outlets for surge protection and battery backup. SInce I live in an older building where power fluctuations in summer are more common, this device has saved me from losing work in the few months I have had it. APC has been a reliable brand since I started using computers at home.

I know a significant number of people have written reviews about issues with these sine wave units. Thus far, that has not been my experience. I’m glad I let years of using APC products override my hesitancy in making this purchase. This UPS works exactly I would have expected, the sales special made it even more attractive.

Ordered this to connect my high end gaming desktop to and some other electronics. Easy to setup just connect the battery and let it charge for awhile before adding any devices. So far no issues. Would recommend.

Battery failed after 5 months, and they failed closed, causing my equipments to fail.

This is a pretty straight forward product. The only thing the user needs to do is attach the battery cable to the battery before using. That took maybe 30 seconds. After that, its just a matter of plugging your voltage sensitive items into the the UPS and those items you want to remain on during a power failure and you’re done. It weighs about as much as a car battery so expect it to be heavy. It runs quietly next to my desktop computer doing its job.
