i followed all the steps about replacing battery from trouble shooting and replaced battery as suggested. this did not fix my unit! it is back to the red battery light flashing and beeping sound at five second intervals. not sure what to do now.

The replacement would not hold a charge. From the time I plugged it in the battery power just went down and would not charge. Thought it might be the unit so I put in a diffrent battery and the unit works fine. I didn’t want to go through the effort to return it and had I not received the email requesting a review I probably wouldn’t have done anything. I was just very disappointed and mad!

Original replacement battery. Works fine. My only question is how is it possible that the manufacture date is 1 month after the date I received it. Oh well…baterry from the future…LOL

My APC LS700 started beeping and I figured out quickly the Battery Cartridge needed replacement. Finding the replacement on the APC website was easy and purchasing it was ‘Painless’. Knowing I was getting the exact replacement to power the LS700 was great- I’ve read reviews where people thought they’d save some pennies by buying a ‘Compatible Battery’ only to have headaches from it not working. It arrived within a week (honestly for the weight of the replacement at $15 shipping – they should have offered next day shipping). Installation was a breeze, anyone that needs a Replacement Battery Cartridge would be crazy to buy anywhere else but APC.com! They are number one in my books!

We’ve got a bunch of older APC UPS units; I decided to try replacing an older battery. Got the battery in the mail and took the old battery to Staples. I was expecting to receive a mailer, but Staples took it regardless. Not bad.

When my first APC battery expired after 5 years, I bought a less expensive after-market battery which lasted only 2 years. So, dollar for dollar, an OEM battery is best for the price, which is why I chose this time to purchase an original APC battery from B&H, who had the best price for OEM APC batteries.

Bought 3 of these batteries in Feb 2016 when they were on sale. It is now Sept of 2017 and 2 out of the 3 batteries have failed in 18 months. Looking at the warranty, it says 1 year warranty. If the expected life is 3-5 years, why only a 1 year warranty? I thought by buying APC name-brand batteries, I would get a quality long-lasting product. So much for THAT.

Original battery lasted 20 months, but anticipate/expect 3-5 years service from the new replacement. Hope is eternal they say.

This fit very, very goodly in the hole of the APC Back-UPS 700 where the other battery was. Probably the best fit ever. People tell me, You know, I’ve never seen a better battery fit. Thank You. So yeah, the battery problem is pretty much gone – eradicated.

I rarely think about my UPS. When I do it is because it needs to be replaced-which is seldom. I’ve had several replacements and originals and all perform beyond the prescribed life. It is easy to order and it arrrives very quickly. They say 7-10 days, but it usually arrives in a couple of days with normal delivery option. I recommend it to anyone that needs this service—everyone.

Battery arrived quickly and was easy to install. The replacement solved my low-battery issues. The online recycle information needs to be updated. I tried returning it to Staples, as the http://www.apc.com/site/recycle/ indicated as Option 4, but was told Staples stopped taking APC batteries a year ago.

Not surprisingly, the UPS works fine with the correct battery. An identical size battery, from a different UPS mfgr, did not work in the APC BE750G UPS.
