Bought my APC unit about 6 years ago and then started hearing an annoying noise from the unit. Turns out it was telling me I needed a new battery. Looked it up on BandH. Bought this plugged it in and now no noise and now I have backup power again if needed. Awesome!

I called APC to get a Replacement Battery for a Back-UPS ES 750 that I’ve had for years, instead of replacing the UPS. I could have bought it from APC (but they would have tried to upgrade the UPS), so I saved $5.00 by getting the same battery from B&H Photo (without the hassle). The Power flickers a lot here, said to be from squirrels getting zapped by the transformers on the poles at the connections to the house. We also get short outages and brownouts from time to time, especially during storms. This UPS is working great again, so now it will go in the bottom drawer of the nightstand by my bed to keep my CPAP and Alarm Clock from losing Power. I have to use the CPAP every night, but when the Power flickers, it shuts Off, but does not come back On automatically. They boxed it up very quickly with 3 other Genuine APC Batteries that I needed and got them to me in just a few days, in perfect condition! All the way from NY to Central Louisiana. And now this UPS is working perfectly again. Can’t remember the name of the B&H Rep who helped my on the phone, but he was great and waited patiently while I gathered any extra information he needed. And this was just before Christmas, so they were probably very busy then. If B&H can be this helpful, courteous, and professional over the Holiday Rush, just imagine how great they will be for you at any other time. Thanks, B&H Photo! You’ve come through for me again!

I’ve had problems with cheaper priced after market batteries so I now only use a genuine APC battery. And I use APC because they are reliable and have tech support people that you can reach by phone. B&H has a great price and free delivery – why would you not buy from them.

My APC BE725BB 450W (725VA) UPS stopped working due to an aging battery. Instead of buying a new unit I hunted around and found this battery. It’s identical to the old one, installed easily, and seems to work perfectly (tested with a 100W lightbulb for a few minutes). I also have a smaller UPS (APC BE550R 330W 550VA) and was pleasantly surprised to see that this battery will fit that unit perfectly as well. I don’t recall exactly how long the original battery lasted, but it was certainly more than 3 years, and possibly as much as 5. Since this is an OEM part I expect it will live just as long.

After power goes out and the Battery runs down the battery will not recharges using a generator. So they are useless when you need the protection like , say a hurricane and there is no power for days. Find a UPS that fulfills the requirements such as recharging from a alternate source.

Original battery lasted five years. This is an exact recommended factory (APC) replacement battery. Received it with a strong charge so only took a short time to be fully recharged and ready to do standby duty. Highly recommend the battery vs clone and I don’t believe you can beat the total price and service B&H gives.
