Bring your UPS back to life with the Replacement Battery Cartridge #59 from APC. Designed to work with compatible APC power supplies, this is a maintenance-free and leakproof Lead-Acid battery. With a minimum of connections and the ability to be hot-swapped, the RBC #59 is intended for rapid installation with zero downtime. This battery cartridge has up to 3-5 years of battery life and a capacity of 336 VAh. It also comes with reusable packaging for recycling your old cartridge.

These batteries are easy to replace. Cheaper than purchasing a new unit. Typically ships quickly.

Quick and easy one-screw, on-the-fly, hot swap. Five minutes start to finish. Batteries are a little pricey at over half the cost of a new unit.

I’ve already replaced two of these batteries on my SC-1500’s (which is OK, I suppose, since I’ve had them for 4 years or so) but now I have to replace one of the replacements, which lasted all of nine months. Maybe this was an one-off.
