I use this unit to provide a layer of redundancy in backup to critical building control systems. It provides fast switching, & I can get about 6 hours runtime under a 20-35% load. Speaking of load, the digital display really helps to keep track of the loading.

APC is a very good company to deal with. When I got my UPS it was making a clicking noise, I call APC, and they sent out a replacement and I sphipping ticket to return the defective unit to them at no cost to me. I have been using APC unites for 20 plus years. they are excellent unites.

Make sure you don’t need the 1500VA version that can also be used as a tower model, this one is rackmount only. Otherwise this is a solid and very reliable UPS. Also meets TAA compliance requirements if you are specifically looking for that. Recommended!
