I receive my Apec under the counter water filter about 10 days after I ordered it it was late in delivery because of UPS I really like the ease of installation I didn’t have to go to the hardware store to buy extra parts I’ve had it installed about a month now hey sure does make a difference I am limited on space under my kitchen sink so I just hooked it up to the cold water valve and hooked straight up and just sat it under the counter

The unit was received quickly and in good condition, with all parts that I needed. Easy to install. Cartridge replacements are very expensive, and the documentation with the shipment did not say how long the filter would last, or how I would know it needs to be renewed. I believe I read somewhere before ordering that it is good for 5000 gallons. I noted that the unit did not appear to reduce my water flow at the faucet, which is good. It is nice to have all the cold water filtered. The unit does take a fair amount of space under the sink, but it’s worth it. Overall, very happy after several weeks. The water quality is very good.

This unit is easy to install. Did not need an adapter as others cite because I did not use one of the supply lines provided and just connected faucet side line directly to the output side. Filtering is good and water taste is neutral now. Time will tell on filter longevity.

Had to buy a different connector since the existing connectors were the wrong size. Also, when we connected it to the water source and turn on the faucet, the initial flow quickly slows down a lot. It took a while to figure out how far to open the valve to get an acceptable flow. For a few days after the initial installation, there was an occasional leak from the filter, but apparently it appears only when the valve is moved. After we left it alone for a while, the leaking stopped. Good feature is the replacement of the filter is straightforward and easier than our prior setup.
