Very simple and easy to install. Have been using it for over a week now and no problems. I do advise, though, to use a 2nd wrench to hold the nut on the filter holder when attaching/screwing on the water connection. The factrory threaded nipple wants to turn while tightening the water supply hoses.

Easy to install, water taste much better. I installed in my basement bathroom sink , the water is easily accessible when doing something in the basement. Watching movies , playing pool , or working on a project. Having this filter makes the water taste like water, not a swimming pool. Also we have the cat food and water down there, I’m sure they appreciate the better water too. Took 10 minutes to install.

I’ll keep my review short and sweet. First, pros- very easy to install and noticeable improvement in taste of water. Cons- very noticeable drop in water pressure and very expensive replacement cartridges.

Bought this because the one I did buy from Home Depot no longer had replacement filters. I tried to get one that was comparable to what I had because I had many parts from the original that still worked good.After reading everything I could about this product from Home Depot, I thought I had everything. When I tried to install it I needed to go back to the store three times to buy extra parts because I only wanted to use it for drinking water with my original spout and did not want to put it on the main line under the sink. Maybe you should include the parts so the customer has the choice to do either. Otherwise, now that I am done with the install, I like this filter a lot and hope I can get replacement filter for many years to come at Home Depot.

It took me a while to install Apec’s CS 2500 high speed filter. When I did, water comes out crystal clear (after 5 to 6 min of running white water)!! Vey Nice!!

So far so good, I had to get a plumber to install it, didn’t even attempt it myself, so can’t say if it’s easy or not, but it was definitely different than my old filter. I haven’t had the water tested, but it tastes fine, I enjoy drinking it and can’t detect any unpleasant taste of smell.
