I have to admit that this is THE easiest 4-stage filtration system I have yet to come across. Assembly & installation takes seconds and the size of the filtration allow it to be easily stored and/or transported. No permanent plumbing to be installed in order to get started using it. The quality of the water tastes great. If only all plumbing were this simple!

My tap Water quality after treatment, is exactly the same as the bottled water I have been paying for. Overtime this product pays for it self. Quality product if you have a few minutes to fill you gallon jug.

This is a well thought-out, well designed and constructed apparatus. It is mounted to a backing plate that can be set on a counter-top, or fastened to a vertical/horizontal surface if desired. It is very easy to hook-up and produces very clean/pure water. The only drawback if you’re not expecting it is the flow rates of these Reverse Osmosis units. This can be disappointing to some as they do not flow as fast as the water comes out of the normal faucet, they work at a much slower rate, so filtering for drinking purposes only, unless you have some sort of receiving vessel than can catch the effluent while you carry on with your life.

This is my second RO-CTOP, the first one lasted five years until one of the connections sprung a leak, even after five years the water was still coming out at around 50 on the testing device. Quality product, easy to install and provides clean great tasting water.I like the addition of the ph filter. If you’re concerned about drinking fluoride, chlorine and whatever else is in tap water, this is a very good option. Well worth the money in my opinion.

Good, reliable drinking water is so important. This is reverse osmosis unit is easy to set up and install on most standard faucets. We tested hooking this up on some of our faucets, but the connections were fitting right because the faucets were more designer and less standard. Regardless, a huge advandtage of this unit is its portability. If you are planning to travel and stay with family, at a hotel, or even go camping, you can bring this along with you and ensure you have clean, safe drinking water. Nothing beats the quality and taste of reverse osmosis water.

Purchased this because it seems convenient and didn’t have to deal with a tank under the counter. The water tastes great. There are 2 issues that you should be aware of which I didn’t know when I bought this system.1) It is really slow in filling up a gallon.2) It generates waste water at the same time as it generates drinking water.

My family and I are enjoying outstanding filtered water thanks to this incredible reverse osmosis system .I received the package fast and promptly.Installation:I don’t have a standard faucet in my kitchen, but I knew I could make it work, somehow. So, this is what I did:My faucet has a male 15/16 thread, instead of a female one like standard faucets have, so I bought a Female/female adapter. In my case, a 55/64 female / 15/16 female did the job. After attaching that adapter I was able to connect the provided valve adapter, and then the diverter to it, with no problems. If you don’t have a standard faucet, and you really want this RO system, just try to get one of the APEC’s adapters first. If those won’t work, just measure your faucet, and get what you need elsewhere.(Lasco or Neoperl female/female adapters are the ones I found that worked. I got a Lasco one for less than $10)Then I flushed the system for 20 minutes as the instructions say.Water testing:After everything was in place and working, I ran the water tests. These were as expected. My tap water TDS reading was 488, and the filtered water reading was 53. Remember that since this system has a remineralization filter, the TDS reading will be a little higher, for the added minerals. The pH testings looked ok too. I used a pH indicator solution, and the filtered water was a slightly dark blue, probably higher than 8 (it’s expected to have a pH higher than 8, because of the minerals added in it). The brine and tap water were a slightly lighter blue. (Probably my solution was not working so well; need to test it again with a different pH reading method. Will update on this.)About the water speed, brine/filtered ratio:Fortunately, my water pressure is decent, so the filtered water comes out pretty fast, about 1gal/30min.The brine water/filtered water ratio is 2:1, as expected.Filtered water and taste:The remineralization filter does its job perfectly. I do recommend buying this one instead of the one without the minerals. This water is the best I had in my life, seriously. We are all (cats and humans) enjoying this great water!

I am now using this product to provide about four gallons of water per day. It was a breeze to setup. The unit is strapped into a compact design and occupy space near the sink. The hoses are of very good length and flexible have a good distance away from the sink or coil it up near the sink. It is easy to route to the faucet and it is not in the way. I had no problem in connecting to the faucet. Just get used to the slow process and save the filtered water in a container for a counter top solution.

Hubby bought this for me for Mothers Day because I am tired of disgusting hard water. I was constantly purchasing bottled water but feel guilty from an environmental perspective. Everything was packaged well, arrived quickly. It was easy to hook up within 5 minutes. We let it run for about 20 minutes and then poured a glass of water. It was a tiny bit cloudy on the first pour but got better with each full glass. This was likely due to the filters not being thoroughly rinsed yet. We do not have a meter to measure the water quality yet but it tasted great and didn’t have chunky stuff floating in it. The waste water runs quicker than the filtered but it wasn’t a problem. It took 13 minutes to fill our 3 quart pitcher . Some might think that takes too long but it is quicker than running to the market for a case of bottled water ;)The esthetic on the countertop leaves a little to be desired so my husband built a nifty cover box for me within an hour. I can imagine that most would not want to have it on the counter but he made a lovely solution that still allows me to free up that counter space. Overall I am in love with the product and would recommend for sure.

I have installed numerous under sink RO systems and this by far was the easiest to install. The filters are the same as the RO systems so I have the confidence (installed south of the border at my wife’s other house) that these will do the same filtering. It attaches to the faucet and you are ready to go! It is more expensive than the normal ro systems, but the ease of installation makes this perfect for the average homeowner.

I rent a studio aptartment in nyc. I didnt have to drill any holes. It was easy to install. I dont have to carry the 5 gallons jugs of water up to my floor anymore. My water is clean. Only downside is that it takes a while to fill up your clean water reservoir. Besides that, this was the best solution and worth the investment.

I live in Southern California and we’re in the middle of one of the worst droughts. Our water has gone from fair to poor in the last few years and luckily for us, we have a RO under sink water filtration system. I’ve heard about the benefits of drinking alkaline water and even though I’m not a believer, I figure, what harm can be done?I chose this APEC water filtration system, so we could see what alkaline water does for us. It’s a portable system and I could install it in our kitchen and do a comparison with our existing RO system.Installation was very easy. I removed the old aerator from the sink and installed an adapter (one that came with the unit), then I installed the special tap/aerator. The unit sits on our counter top. We’re already short of counter space, so this isn’t a permanent installation. Also, the valve that connects to our faucet isn’t very attractive. Finally, the clean water hose just sits there. I flushed the system for 15 minutes, then I decided to do the test you’ll see in the video below. The results are very upsetting for me – when you see the results, you’ll know why. Our tap water isn’t very good, as you can see from the TDS meter. This APEC system did a great job cleaning our water. It also tastes crisp and clean, though you’ll notice a lot of cloudiness – I think it may be air bubbles, since the TDS reading is very low. The waste water from the RO filter was bad – it’s waste water from a filter system, so it should be bad. The water from my undersink RO filter – oh my! Watch the video and you’ll see what I’m so amazed at.I highly recommend our new APEC water filtration system with Alkaline water. Our new APEC RO system does an incredible job cleaning our water. It’s great to take with us, since it’s portable. I don’t see it as a good permanent system, since it takes up a lot of space on our counter top, the faucet attachment and the clean water outpu. These things will keep me from making this a permanent system, but I’m going to see if I can modify it to work with my existing RO system tank and faucet – I’ll replace the old RO system. If it doesn’t work, I’ll buy an undercounter model from APEC.

I bought this for my family. It was nicely packed and delivered on time. I was tired of buying bottle water as its not safe for health as well as environment. It’s easy to install and comes with 2 extra size adapters for different size faucets. We let it run for about 20 minutes and then filed a 2 gallon jar for use which took around 30 mins. TDS reading was reduced to almost 90% for filtered water. The taste of water is nice as Ph version adds minerals to it. The ratio of waste to clean water is more but in acceptable range. Its a great product for small apartments as it fits in small space and doesn’t need any plumbing. I read lots of review before buying and happy to say that it met my expectation. I strongly recommend to anyone who wants to gets clean and filtered water at ease of home.

This is a very impressive water filtration system that can output 90 gallons per day.It has a 4 stage filtration system:Stage 1) Is a filter to remove dust and particlesStage 2) Carbon filter to remove chlorine and gets rid of odors and chemicals in the tap waterStage 3) is their FILMTEC membrane that removes contaminants found in the water supply, like arsenic and lead – things you DON’T want you the water you drinkStage 4) is a acidic water neutralizer which adds calcium carbonate to the waterSo this takes your tap water and delivers healthy clean water for drinking and cooking. What I don’t like about this system is its size. It weighs about 10 lbs and the four filter chambers are about 10″ long and 6″ high in the rack. What I like about the system is that it is easy to install and move and comes with adapters to work with 13/16″ and 15/16″ faucets. I can use it at home as well as take it with my to my trailer and each has a different faucet size. Being portable and easy to install makes it an excellent system.

Setup on my countertop was easy.I ordered the countertop version since my sink does not have a hole to add an extra faucet and I do not have the space under the sink for the system and tank.I used to use the five stage pitcher filter system to filter my city tap water. I purchased the alkaline plus system for fear that the filtration would remove too many minerals. I tested the water for both Total Dissolved Solids (Tds) and for Ph. I tested the pitcher water, tap water and the reverse osmosis water. Results- Pitcher water had 0 Tds and a Ph of 5 (acidic- 7 being neutral). My tap water had 353 Tds and a Ph of 8. The APEC system had 33 Tds (remember this is a mineral added system) and a Ph of 8. The reverse osmosis system advertised 90% contaminate removal. I believe that it filtered well above that in terms of effectiveness.Pro- easy to set up, was delivered next day and great tasting water with a slight mineral taste.Con- Took 35 minutes to fill a 1.25 gallon container that had to be watched to avoid overflow, I regret not paying the extra $20 for the unit cover and will have to test the water periodically to determine any reduction in filter effectiveness.
