Works as expected. Simple install. I like the changeable filters as compared to cartridges. Only downfall which may have been an oversight by me was that it came with a nickel colored faucet when I needed a chrome one. Separate purchase and I have what I needed.

After living 15 years in London, I moved back to rural Iowa and discovered that out small town’s municipal water caused my stomach to be upset. I started buying bottled water and noticed there was a difference between a supermarket’s water that was purified vs. distilled. The distilled water did not upset my stomach, but the purified did. After further investigation, I found out that the purified water had 0.11 mg/L of nitrates. The distilled had none. I had also noticed that my stomach was worse during the warmer months when farmers spray the fields surrounding our town with nitrates. I did a lot of research and chose APEC reverse osmosis system. I liked the idea that they had an additional filter just for nitrates that could be added, but the sales woman told me that I most likely wouldn’t even need it. She was right. My stomach no longer gets upset from the contaminants in our water. I am very happy with this system, and my parents also plan to purchase one for their home.

Oh my God! Why did my cheap self waited so long to buy a system like Apec Water?I had a delivery water to my house for years but I switched to Glacier until I said enough. I bought and installed this few weeks ago. After weeks of use, I can tell that the drinking water is fresh and remove tap water taste comparing with the water from the refrigerator water dispenser. I change the refrigerator water filter in the regular basis. Wife insists to get this water filter system and install it with the new sink. I compare the taste of the water from the refrigerator and from this filter. The water from the RO-Hi taste a lot better. The water tastes a lot more neutral.

I bought this system and upgraded the tank to the 14 gallon. Install was really easy, took about a hour in half to install. Probably would’ve taken less time if I YouTube the install first. Direction were easy to follow and I think any one could do this, especially with the internet’s help. Took about 2 hours to fill up the tank. There are no leaks no leaks at the moment. Maybe I can do another update after awhile. I tested the TDS before set up and it read 470 after the install reading 14.

Super Nice water filter…..PROS: 1. easy to install (just follow ALL instructions and dont skip/omit/alter any steps (like I did)) 2. Once it is installed it works GREAT …..SUPER HIGH flow rate which is super nice for quickly filling a glass of water! 3. Reasonable pricing for unit and replacement cartrideges..4. I would surely buy it again!Cons: 1. like most RO systems it does use quite a bit of space under your counter but for good fast flowing water I am OK with that small inconvenience :-)Chaz
