Unit arrived well packaged from supplier and with no damage. – Instructions were easy to follow and not to difficult to install. – Ended up installing unit in basement to keep space under sink open for other items and to make servicing the unit more convenient . This required additional tubing which was readily available at hardware store. With about a 25 foot run to the tank, didn’t experience much of a pressure drop. However, I decided to add an additional 4 gallon APEC tank to aid in pressure and to add extra capacity. – The water quality is what I expected and taste is great. – This unit has cut down on the need for purchasing bottled water. – Great unit at a fair price! I was replacing an old RO system, and after reviewing various systems, chose this one as it offered the added benefit of the Alkaline mineral filter, which improves the Ph (acidity) of the water. Setup was a breeze, the printed instructions are very well thought out, with step-by-step instructions and clear illustrations. And as a bonus, on APEC’s website you can find installation videos, in case you need additional help understanding where everything goes. The water coming out of the RO system tastes great, and you can see the difference in the ice coming out of the freezer, which is clearer than before.I look forward to testing the PH levels and TDS in both the tap water and RO water to get a more precise reading of the improvement in water quality. And the faucet that comes with the system complements my other fixtures, it looks very sturdy with a very high-end finish.Very happy with this excellent system!!!

At first, the giant box that the product arrived in looked intimidating. Once we cracked it open and took a look at the drawing of how it all pops together, it was pretty easy to understand and pop the parts together.Easy install. Took a couple of hours because we needed to make another run to the store for a new, longer hose. Keep in mind you’ll need some basic tools that aren’t in the box, including a drill, a 1/4th bit, and half inch bit. Also, for the little filter faucet to be conveniently placed, be ready to drill through your counter or sink (we were almost going to figure out a way too install the faucet below the sink to avoid this, but glad we put it in the intended place).Overall, great product. Would buy again.

This was a breeze to install. Apec has several videos on youtube that made it very helpful. Water is as good or better than the filtered water we were buying from our local grocery store. We tested TDS and PH before and after. 90% drop in TDS and .7 higher on the PH.I also flushed the first 4 tanks based on other reviews. Worked out perfectly.

We have been using this system for roughly 2 weeks. It has been reliable, and installation was pretty simple. It took me (an amateur) about 4 hours to install (start to finish), and another 3 hours to fill the tank and empty (First fill should be discarded).Before installing this system, our water was very hard and had a very distinct odor and taste (I would never let anyone drink from our tap – my wife hated this). Even after filtering with Brita filters, it still did not do much to help with our confidence in the water. This system seems to have fixed the taste and odor issues we were facing.We are very satisfied with the results and would recommend this to anyone with low confidence in their water quality – Especially if you live in NJ.

Very nice under the sink RO system, pretty easy to install, will need 1/2 inch hole saw if your counter dont have the hole for faucet. Works great, water tastes sane as store bought bottled mineral water, if not better.
