The Apple 13″ MacBook Air features Apple’s first chip designed specifically for Mac. The Apple M1 integrates the CPU, GPU, Neural Engine, I/O, and more into a single system on a chip (SoC). Tackle your projects with the fast 8-Core CPU and take on graphics-intensive apps and games with the 7-core GPU. Accelerate machine learning tasks with the 16-core Neural Engine. Complete with a silent, fanless design and up to 18 hours of battery life, the MacBook Air is still portable, but now a lot more powerful. It also has 8GB of unified RAM and a 256GB SSD.
With over 4 million pixels, the 13.3″ Retina Display features a 2560 x 1600 screen resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio for 227 pixels per inch (ppi). The display also features up to 48 percent more color than the previous generation. With True Tone technology, the white balance automatically adjusts to match the color temperature of the light around you for a more natural viewing experience.
Connect to the internet via Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and use compatible wireless peripherals and accessories with Bluetooth 5.0. The two Thunderbolt 3 ports provide USB4 support and can even connect to the Apple Pro Display XDR in full 6K resolution. Apple also included studio-quality mics for clear recordings and calls. There is also Apple’s latest camera ISP in the M1 chip, which enables sharper images and more details in shadows and highlights in video calls. Keep your MacBook Air secure with Secure Enclave in M1 as well as Touch ID. The Touch Bar allows for shortcuts, the backlit Magic Keyboard provides a comfortable typing experience, and the Force Touch trackpad allows for precise cursor control, pressure-sensing capabilities, and Multi-Touch gestures.
Please note that this MacBook Air can only output to a single external display with up to 6K resolution at 60 Hz.
This Mac comes preloaded with macOS. Updates can be downloaded for free via the Mac App Store. Please check Apple’s website for upgrade eligibility.

Just returned my brand new Macbook air. Was fine when I first set it up..then the next day..the computer was all messed up…couldnt even log in anymore..and with only 1 hrs total time on it. Applecare was unable to solve the problems and after 4 total wipes of the HD and Mac OS reinstalls..they totally ave up gave up on it…defeated.. Important to know..that Applecare doesnt really know what to do with the new M1 chip…esp if there are issues. Forget tier 1 service..go straight to tier 2 if you have issues. They admit they are learning as they go…as of late Feb 2021. The Mac advisor even said..maybe its best to buy a Windows computer for now…that surprised me. They really didnt know or figure out what was wrong w/it. 1 guy said they couldnt bypass the M1 security..another guy thought there was an automatic firmware update that messed it up.. This was my 1st Apple computer..and I like it..but..it didnt work after the first day…what a shame.

Greatest computer of all times 5 stars… I didn’t want to ruin the rating but to BHP you have to make sure that delivery person/company, doesn’t just toss the computer box in the front door but actually wait for the SIGNATURE… computer may get damaged or stolen if tossed and left outside

This new 13 MacBook Air is so fast, so bright, and so NEW that I think I will replace my 15 MacBook Pro from just two years ago. This new MacBook Air was for my daughter who uses it in school and it goes back and forth with her each day. A larger computer is just too big to be carried with all her books, etc. So we chose this on size but it is so good there is no reason to own a bigger laptop. It feels big, it is fast, and it is perfect.

i have edited a lot of short o medium videos in HD and drone shoots in 4K and it runs pretty good. Maybe sometimes it lost some frames a little bit but it is ok for HD projects and not long 4k projects, I believe.

Great computer. Nice, silent and fast. My last computer was eight years old running High Sierra so this is a bit of a leap for me. Still getting used to current Mac OS. No problems so far with 8gb ram. Only complaint is having to spend money on expanding the ports to connect various external devices. Two USB-C ports are a little sparse.

Sure, the MacBook Pro M1 is plenty fast, and I liked the added brightness – but this is an especially good-looking device. Apple reduced the size of the bezels, making for a very slim, but capable machine.
