The Apple Mac mini now features Apple’s first chip designed specifically for Mac. The Apple M1 integrates the CPU, GPU, Neural Engine, I/O, and more into a single system on a chip (SoC). All of this boosts the Mac mini to an entirely different level, as it features up to three times faster CPU performance, up to six times faster graphics, and up to 15 times faster machine learning with the 16-Core Neural Engine. You’ll be able to work, play, and create on a Mac mini with more power and speed than previous models, making it suitable for home offices, gaming, music creation, digital art and signage, and more. Adding to the Mac mini’s power is 8GB of RAM, which helps to ensure smooth multitasking and also allows the computer to quickly access frequently used files and programs.
The 8-Core GPU delivers a sharp, clear picture, and you’ll be able to output video to an external display using the system’s Thunderbolt 3 ports, which feature native DisplayPort output, or use the built-in HDMI 2.0 port. You’ll be able to connect one 6K / 60 Hz display using Thunderbolt 3 and a second 4K / 60 Hz display using HDMI 2.0.
For storing your files, this Mac mini is equipped with a 512GB SSD that delivers speeds of up to 3.4 GB/s. If you want to add external peripherals, two Thunderbolt 3 / USB4 ports that support bi-directional transfer speeds of up to 40 Gb/s, as well as 10 Gb/s USB 3.1 Gen 2, plus charging and power for external devices. Thanks to two 5 Gb/s USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, you’ll still be able to connect other devices to this system. Gigabit Ethernet is built in for wired networking, or use Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) for wireless access. Bluetooth 5.0 technology will allow you to connect additional compatible peripherals, including keyboards, mice, and headsets. Sound is output using a 3.5mm headphone jack. Apple’s Mac mini operates using an internal 150W power supply that runs off 100-240 VAC at 50 to 60 Hz.
This Mac comes preloaded with macOS. Updates can be downloaded for free via the Mac App Store. Please check Apple’s website for upgrade eligibility Also, please be aware that a keyboard and mouse are not included.

Great store, great site and great products. I love the Mac Mini. I also appreciate that the management has the principles to close on the Sabbath.

Moving from a MBP to Mac mini was a great decision for us. After much research and discussion, we are happy with our decision and B&H beat Apple’s price too.

This mini is VERY fast, so much faster than my previous 2012 iMac I was running. I can play 4 layers of 4k video in Adobe Premiere. All in all I’m very pleased.

It’s been 11 years since my last Mac Mini and it is still with me. I hope to get many years out of this one as well. It is easy to set up and it is very quick. No issues and performs great.

1. Airdrop fail to react to me for a large number of times. 2. Some of my R packages always lead to session-aborted, while on my 2015 macbook pro everything works out fine.

Never in the history of Apple has there been a better power to value ratio. The M1 Mac Mini with 16GB RAM hands down will handle 99% of all your computing needs. If you need more power than this, you’ll have to pay orders of magnitude more money. !00% recommended for everyone from casual web-surfer to command line power user.

I was hoping to get my new Mac Mini in December but I also knew they were on back order. Mid way thru January I still hadn’t received it and then realized had I purchased thru APPLE I still would not have received it. B&H was brilliant, helpful, kept me up to speed on when I’d receive it and it showed up just like they said. Best of all was PAYBOO credit card and saving a lot of money by them discounting the tax. From many discussions I decided to install from scratch rather than a TIME MACHINE backup. Took a while but everything is working now. My only suggestion to the world is to make sure you save your email confirmations and registration numbers as a PDF and label them so when you have to install/reinstall you have all the information. It took me days but I am happy I did it that way.

Was all set to buy the shiny new iMac to replace my 2017 iMac. Discovered this has the same M1 chip and ports so… I bought an inexpensive monitor ($200) and hooked this up and couldn’t be happier. Saved about $800 and I still have the performance without the shiny thing in the corner.

If you need to run multiple monitors (stock market etc) you need to know that M1 is cap to two display only.

You are a real person to them. Yes we customers get talking, though it takes someone who knows the right questions at the right time. This Mac will help me a lot in my production. Get one!

Super fast, extremely versatile, using as a Plex and multi-volume headless server, accessing via Jump Desktop and Luna Display on a 27 iMac (circa 2018) and Matias full-size keyboard (4 Bluetooth buttons) . . . great price and easy access.

We ordered this Mac mini to replace a 2017 iMac that was showing its age. We ordered from B&H because they had better availability and shipping times than Amazon. The Mac mini has worked great as a replacement. We really didn’t need the microphone and camera that the iMac configuration provided. The new M1 processor is very responsive and runs much more smoothly than the older iMac! We are even running Windows 11 in Parallels for some of our accounting software that is windows only and that works great as well.

Like all apple products, they are of quality and very intuitive to use.

This is truly a great machine. It is a perfect equipment for replacing my old imac (mid 2011). really small, really powerful and fast.

all the reviews said it was amazing. if you got a mouse and a monitor, you are all set. well, they all failed to say that you needed a retina monitor because for the m1 mini they took out the capability to font smooth and the fonts look like human waste product. it seems like they could fix it by adding a bit of code back. will they? do i have to buy a new monitor? of course, once i get the new monitor, THEN they’ll do a fix. right? i was so p’d i didn’t touch the thing for a month. anybody know anything about any of this let me know.

I’ve bought my first MacMini at 2006 (equipped with PowerPC G4). During that 14 years I’ve had a lot of mac – almost any model except the latest iMac Pro and Mac Pro. That one little guy with its 5nm M1 processor is ridiculous! It renders videos in Final Cut faster that MacBook Pro 16 i9/5500M of 2020s! Event with 8Gb of unified memory it kind of speedy. No more funs hum! Almost silent. Never heard internal fan. I wish more & more software producers will adopt their apps to gain full M1 power and to give us, users, all the capabilities off this tiny little beast.

I’m a professional filmmaker. I couldn’t wait for the M1 Chip iMac so that I’ve purchased this M1 Mac Mini. This inexpensive Mac (16MB-1TB) is surprisingly super fast (Adobe Premiere Pro) and silent (compared to my intel Chip MacBook Air’s noisy fan), handling two monitors at the same time. I’m sure that M1 iMac will be faster than this Mac Mini, but until then this M1 Chip Mac Mini is a hidden gem, streamline my video editing without hurting my budget.
