The Apple Mac mini now features Apple’s first chip designed specifically for Mac. The Apple M1 integrates the CPU, GPU, Neural Engine, I/O, and more into a single system on a chip (SoC). All of this boosts the Mac mini to an entirely different level, as it features up to three times faster CPU performance, up to six times faster graphics, and up to 15 times faster machine learning with the 16-Core Neural Engine. You’ll be able to work, play, and create on a Mac mini with more power and speed than previous models, making it suitable for home offices, gaming, music creation, digital art and signage, and more. Adding to the Mac mini’s power is 8GB of RAM, which helps to ensure smooth multitasking and also allows the computer to quickly access frequently used files and programs.
The 8-Core GPU delivers a sharp, clear picture, and you’ll be able to output video to an external display using the system’s Thunderbolt 3 ports, which feature native DisplayPort output, or use the built-in HDMI 2.0 port. You’ll be able to connect one 6K / 60 Hz display using Thunderbolt 3 and a second 4K / 60 Hz display using HDMI 2.0.
For storing your files, this Mac mini is equipped with a 512GB SSD that delivers speeds of up to 3.4 GB/s. If you want to add external peripherals, two Thunderbolt 3 / USB4 ports that support bi-directional transfer speeds of up to 40 Gb/s, as well as 10 Gb/s USB 3.1 Gen 2, plus charging and power for external devices. Thanks to two 5 Gb/s USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, you’ll still be able to connect other devices to this system. Gigabit Ethernet is built in for wired networking, or use Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) for wireless access. Bluetooth 5.0 technology will allow you to connect additional compatible peripherals, including keyboards, mice, and headsets. Sound is output using a 3.5mm headphone jack. Apple’s Mac mini operates using an internal 150W power supply that runs off 100-240 VAC at 50 to 60 Hz.
This Mac comes preloaded with macOS. Updates can be downloaded for free via the Mac App Store. Please check Apple’s website for upgrade eligibility Also, please be aware that a keyboard and mouse are not included.

Been extremely happy with my purchase, extremely fast and the 16GB of ram are gonna be crucial in the long run. Seeing now the new iMac is gonna be basically the same computer but with worse upgradability I’m even happier with my decision. The Mini has extra ports as well, and in a cheaper package. Pairs perfectly with my 32 4K LG Monitor.

Wanted a new mac because my old 2014 27″ was getting to be very out dated. Monterey wasn’t available for it, so decided to go with Mac Mini 16 GB Ram and 512 ssd . Amazingly quite and running smoothly. Using 24 ” LG monitor 4K , using Bluetooth keyboard and mouse from apple with no issues, but all I do is Photoshop elements and Pixelmator and Qimage 1 with no issues. Very happy with my set up as it sit on a Satechi hub. It’s small size sits on my desk for easy access.

I replaced a 7-year old Mac mini (used as a music server & photo display source for a big TV) with this 2020 model. Looking back at the price I paid for the 2014 model, also with 16GB of RAM, this is a great value, with much better performance and a good mix of USB C and A ports.

This M1 Mac Mini it’s everything!!! Im a video editor for 15+ years and this machine works with every single video codec and camera footage that I work (Red komodo 6k Raw, black magic 6k Raw, canon C200, Alexa Mini ), It is super fast and reliable with Premiere and Resolve, I have no problems with bluetooth or display. Enjoyed every bit of it

The Mac Mini is amazing and super fast. B&H has the best customer service and I will definitely be shopping with them again.

Works great! Once you get it all set up, which takes a lot more than past set ups of Mac products. For instance, getting the Mac Mini M1 to recognize my LG Monitor’s speakers was a chore that took time to find how and, fortunately, the fix was easy. That’s how set up went on several fronts, BUT once it was set up it’s been great. I highly recommend with the caution that it will take some effort.

I ordered the Mac mini with 16gb ram and 1tb ssd. Just as fast as my i9 intel MacBook Pro. Love the size for desktop. Everything just works for me. Love that I can use work specific software for my iPad on this mini because of the M1 chip! Can’t beat this price for something this fast.

We have not been aware that the M1 chip are not working with Windows 10. Quite a few programs that are not designed for the M1 chip are not working or not working correctly! We will most likely return the devise.

This M1 Mac Mini has worked flawlessly. The only hassle is what all the thoughtful reviewers have already pointed out: This computer lacks an adequate number of ports. 2 USB-C, 2 USB-A, 1 HDMI is all there is. Many, many users will be buying a USB-C hub before long.

Very fast and powerful machine. I upgraded from a 2014 MacBook Pro 15 retina and noticed a huge improvement. Stays very quiet and cool.

My 2012 Mac Mini was failing, so this was a great purchase. That thing lasted almost 10 years or more. This new Mac Mini is fast, responsive and a great addition to any home office. Get this machine and never look back!

I bought this MacMini to replace my 2016 MacBook Pro 15 that started to get slow when editing 60 megapixels RAW pictures from my Sony A7R4. The MacMini works like a charm with any files. I just added a HUB to expand my storage and have some extra USBs and SD/microSD readers.

Awesome desktop. The computer power is crazy,, faster and more powerful than my old MacPro. It is also absolutely silent and runs cool. Wish it had a few more T3 ports. The big letdown is Big Sur which is still full of bugs (never install a new software upfront, unfortunately there is no choice here). Hopefully Apple will fix the bugs in the not too distant future (Loss of BT connection, black screen,….).

This is a great little Mac for FCPX editing. The M1 chip doesn’t hesitate and slices through 4k video quickly and efficiently!
