The iPad Pro’s Liquid Retina display has a 2388 x 1668 resolution, the P3 wide color gamut, ProMotion support with a 120 Hz refresh rate, and True Tone for comfortable viewing. There is also 600 nits of max brightness. On the front, Apple has introduced a 12MP Ultra Wide Camera with Center Stage, which uses the 12MP Ultra Wide 1080p camera and machine learning to automatically pan, zoom, expand, and actively adjust the frame during video calls, whether it’s just you or multiple participants. On the rear, there are still 12MP Ultra Wide and 10MP Ultra Wide cameras for 4K, Full HD, and multi-cam filmmaking with Smart HDR 3. The LiDAR scanner is retained, which determines distance by determining light reflection and further readies possibilities for augmented reality and beyond.
Apple has also equipped the iPad Pro with 128GB of storage and 8GB RAM, plus a 40 Gb/s Thunderbolt port with a USB Type-C interface for driving displays, including the Pro Display XDR at full 6K resolution, as well as external storage and docks. Moving to the audio side of things, the iPad Pro retains its five studio-quality mics and delivers theater-like sound and support for Dolby Atmos with four-speaker audio. Also carried over from previous models is support for a trackpad, Apple Pencil, Smart Keyboard Folio, and the Magic Keyboard. Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) ensures a fast Wi-Fi connection, and 5G LTE will allow network connectivity when Wi-Fi is not available, so long as you have a separately-sold data plan.

It may be because my existing iPad was extremely old and didn’t work very well, but this one is great. It’s great having one that doesn’t crash and runs quickly without waiting for apps to load. I also wished up this time and bought one with extra storage space so I now have lots of room for pics and files. The ordering through B&H was also excellent. I was considering either ipad air or ipad pro. But there is only $50 difference between ipad air 256GB and ipad pro 128gb. So why I would get ipad air? lol Ipad pro with M1 chip is much faster. So good

I purchased the iPad for my wife, put big smiles on her face. She was thrilled with the quality of pictures on the screen and the colors. Using face time was an unexpected surprise when the image would change as she moved around and would adjust when a second person came into view. The iPad followed and zoomed making for a great conversation. Only regret is not buying it sooner. And having the smaller memory was a great savings, 128GB holds the pictures and videos with room to spare, plus saved $100.
