The iPad Pro’s Liquid Retina display has a 2388 x 1668 resolution, the P3 wide color gamut, ProMotion support with a 120 Hz refresh rate, and True Tone for comfortable viewing. There is also 600 nits of max brightness. On the front, Apple has introduced a 12MP Ultra Wide Camera with Center Stage, which uses the 12MP Ultra Wide 1080p camera and machine learning to automatically pan, zoom, expand, and actively adjust the frame during video calls, whether it’s just you or multiple participants. On the rear, there are still 12MP Ultra Wide and 10MP Ultra Wide cameras for 4K, Full HD, and multi-cam filmmaking with Smart HDR 3. The LiDAR scanner is retained, which determines distance by determining light reflection and further readies possibilities for augmented reality and beyond.
Apple has also equipped the iPad Pro with 128GB of storage and 8GB RAM, plus a 40 Gb/s Thunderbolt port with a USB Type-C interface for driving displays, including the Pro Display XDR at full 6K resolution, as well as external storage and docks. Moving to the audio side of things, the iPad Pro retains its five studio-quality mics and delivers theater-like sound and support for Dolby Atmos with four-speaker audio. Also carried over from previous models is support for a trackpad, Apple Pencil, Smart Keyboard Folio, and the Magic Keyboard. Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) ensures a fast Wi-Fi connection, and 5G LTE will allow network connectivity when Wi-Fi is not available, so long as you have a separately-sold data plan.

I opted the 11″ instead of 12.9″ because it’s a tablet meant for holding in hand and move around. If I wanted a 13″ screen, keyboard and track pad I’d buy a MacBook Pro. This new iPad Pro is very fast, great screen and joy to use. I have the 2TB 5G so I can store all my photos and sharing with speed. If there is anything to pick on is the price.

It is definitely by far the fastest IPad. If you want to use it for daily using, it has almost the most beautiful screen. With high refresh frame rate, this iPad works just fluently with Apple Pencil. Highly recommended if you work on arts or, like me, I draw lighting diagrams with it. I just got the 2nd generation of Apple Pencil for 99 in Target with a discount.

In comparison to my 2019 11″ iPad Pro, it’s very fast in processing, the display is better, almost all the third party devices work but the battery doesn’t last as long (combo of video, web browsing, some photo editing, no gaming one charge lasts about 7 hours). The regular third USB charging ports I have around the house not all able to charge this new iPad Pro, only the apple charging adapter charges fast. The primary use case for me is photo and video editing and input output which this iPad Pro performs flawlessly. Overall, I’m happy with it. The only concern is not sure if the battery can hold for my long international flight in one charge.
